We've been to Wisegirl twice and had great food both times. We sit in their open "alcove" next to the actual restaurant, which works great for us -- with one exception. Both times, when our food came, we still had no table settings. We had to wait, and in one visit, had to ask twice. They need to bring table settings when they seat you or take your order.

Seems like a local spot. I stumbled upon this place on Yelp and Google and decided to go here on a random Saturday night. Luckily my boyfriend and I were able to get a high top table by the bar. The atmosphere was very dark/dimly lit so it made reading the menu a little tough for me. The service of the food was very fast. Appetizers, salad and main course came out at the same time so never really got to enjoy the apps as much since I didn’t want my main dish to get cold . The artichoke was a little tough for my liking. The salad. I wished they poured the dressings on it or gave me a spoon so I could drizzle the contents. The main dish were standard. They were good but I would definitely try other dishes.

Ok music nights WG is an easy place to land. You can enjoy dinner while listening to excellent blues and cover bands (with no cover!) It's easy to keep East Bay Music venues thriving with a casual but easygoing place. Service was convivial, even entertaining. Parking is easy- and there is a rather large outside area for dining. Inside the restrooms are clean and one of the 2 large rooms has a busy dance floor.

Not quite what we expected for restaurant dining. But it seems to be perfect for eating while listening to the band. Friendly service.

We came here for an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon. This is our third time here because we like the drinks and it's conveniently within walking distance from our place. The three of us were sat at a table by the bar. I really liked my margaritas and we also got the lemon drop and a Sierra. The portions are very generous, plenty of very good food. Also, the calamari was very good. I'm usually opposed to it due to the rubbery texture but it was not chewy at all and I enjoyed it. It's very spacious inside with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also feature live music which they advertise on their social media pages. The service was attentive and thoughtful. I like the old school decor. We went home with plenty of leftovers while feeling satisfied. Will be back!

Just went for drinks. Ordered Tito's and tonic. Just changing shifts. Drink didn't taste right. Told the new bartender. She dumped it out and gave me a new one with a smile. First must have been soda water. Pleasant bar. People are friendly, food is good. I'd definitely go back. Just visiting from FL.

My first time here from a coworkers recommendation. We were disappointed. The entire vibe was just not it. This is more for seniors...definitely a Rossmoor community hangout. Also the food was less than subpar as were the drinks. Came here with family of 5. We spent about $234 with 18%gratuity. The only positive is that our waitress was wonderful! We ordered 3 drinks alongside our meals which were very much watered down. We ordered 3 appetizers which was the fried ravioli, calamari and focaccia with garlic olive alongside 5 pasta dishes. The food looked better than it tasted and sounded better than it tasted. We definitely won't be back. Sorry!

This place is just simply amazing!!! You have to go there. Try EVERYTHING. My daughters favorite is the calamari and mine is the fried ravioli

We went for the first time and sat outside. The service, food in ambience was amazing. We ordered the stuffed artichoke, which was absolutely amazing as well as French dip sliders. Looking forward to going back.

Wisegirl may be a hole in the wall with no exterior windows, but come inside and you will be transported to a magical dining/entertainment experience of Italian favorites, drinks, and desserts. With some amazing classic music, a great staff, and crowd; this well kept secret deserves your party to celebrate everything under the sun. Be sure to ask for Dave for that first class service.
