Very good! Very happy with the food. We tried the orange chicken, bbq pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, spicy basil beef, veggie egg rolls and chicken postickers so we got a decent spread of the menu. Nothing was too greasy or salty, and the spicy beef had a ton of water chestnuts which was perfect. I will definitely be ordering from Dragon's Spring again.

Ordered pick up from dragon springs Chinese as soon as their online system opened at 11am. Their online system is very easy to use and it even gives you a list of common allergies to notate just in case and lists common allergens next to food choices that use them. For example almost every chow mein on their menu has a peanut sauce. For this very first visit trying this business I ordered my favorite dishes from any Chinese restaurant to see if this could be a new regular place. Mongolian beef, potstickers and hot and sour soup. The Mongolian beef was a little on the sweeter side even tho I counted the 5 hot red chili peppers that were in the container. However the meat to onion ratio was almost perfect. I like to be able to have meat and onion in every bite. The potstickers were little. Not what you typically expect from most Chinese restaurants. They were almost one bite size. I do not think that the 6 pieces are enough to share. This is one of the only Chinese restaurants I've been to that offer soup to go in two different sizes. They offer cup and bowl size. Cup size is perfect for one person almost as a solo meal. The three items after tax and tip cost roughly $30. It wasn't a bad experience and I'd be interested in trying this place again.... maybe even with a larger family order. I have been frequenting another Chinese restaurant in the area for over 15 years but decided to try this place based on other reviews. I wasn't disappointed but wasn't overly thrilled however now I know how to adjust my order for any future visits that may occur.

Tried this place for the first time and it will 100% be our go-to spot for Chinese food. It was absolutely delicious!!! We ordered on their website for pick up and their system is so smooth, which definitely isn't always the case with restaurants. I was very impressed! Additionally, since we ordered a certain amount they added in a bowl of garlic noodles for free which was so nice and they tasted great. The person working there was incredibly nice and our food was well packaged in a box. My dog was literally losing his mind at how desperately he wanted the food, so you know it smelled delicious. We ordered a lot and everything tasted so yummy! My favorite appetizer was the spicy chicken wings, it was so much better than I expected it would be. We had a few chicken and vegetarian dishes along with noodles, all were great. Cannot wait to come back and support this great restaurant.

Really 3.5 stars but no middle ... btw, their crispy glazed chicken is what authentic "sweet and sour chicken" is as original and not Americanized version with too much sweet sauce. So if u like sweet and sour chicken but find it over the top, try the more authentic version (they sell both versions so be sure and get the right one) I should also note their portions are good sized for the price.

This place is our go-to Chinese food place in the area. I cannot highly recommend it enough. The best dishes we've tried: sesame chicken, dragon spring chow neon with bbq pork, lemon chicken.

Pretty average. I ordered the pot stickers, steamed dumplings, duck chow fun, sweet & sour pork, and then Mongolian beef. The only thing I really liked was the duck chow fun. The pot stickers and dumplings were okay but didn't have much filling in them, and the pork and beef were tough.

I never notice this restaurant before until now. What is strange is that I eat at Ming's across the street and never notice that there was competition. If I knew about this restaurant when I was attending Diablo Valley College I would had eaten here a lot...even when Ming's wasn't open or if they were packed for lunch. Sesame Chicken here was good. I had it during lunch with Fried Rice. I was impress that it came with an eggroll and soup...something that other Chinese Restaurants don't not provide for take out. My lunch was a good proportion that kept me full. I will definitely order from this place again.

I found this gem when I was craving good American Chinese Cuisine on Doordash. Now I am not going to order from anywhere else for American Chinese Food. It comes hot and tastes super fresh something I don't tend to get with places that use the traditional take out boxes. I also love how they are reusable too and Microwaveable.

The delivery was lightening fast and the food was great! The cilantro chicken was amazing! We will be back!

Salt and pepper shrimp is good, pot stickers and fried rice are pain. Food is hit or miss but if you find the good food than it is very good!

i have been getting food from this restaurant for at least six years now. hands down, this is still one of my favorite local chinese restaurants (especially now that golden willow is closed). not only is the food delicious, but it's also served in great portions. bonus: instead of going through doordash or grubhub, you can actually order delivery/take out directly through their website, which is also a great way to help support this local business and save a little money! tl;dr: the food is really tasty. order delivery/take out through their website.

Was so excited to order from Dragon's Spring on Christmas. I didn't mind waiting 2 hours to receive our order and expected they would be busy. But unfortunately, it was disappointing. The wonton soup was cold and there was a long black hair on the lid (gross), the wontons tasted like raw dough and we threw it away. The Mongolian beef was almost entirely onions almost no beef so we only ate about 10% and threw the rest away, the mango chicken was tasty but 95% mango (almost zero chicken). The orange chicken and veg chow mein were tasty. No chop sticks, etc. Oh well.

It was delicious. Generous sized servings. Loved the combination appetizer plate. Really loved the Mongolian Beef. Sautéed asparagus was yummy. Mango chicken was ok. The mango was perfection, but the chicken and sauce weren't my favorites. Can't wait to go back! Will get appetizer plate again and try some other main dishes. Yum! We got it to go and it was nice and hot!

Our family loves this place! Our all time favorites are the salt and pepper chicken, the princess prawns and the chow fun. We tried the cilantro beef tonight and it's amazing! Definitely give this place a try.

Hands down best Chinese food in the area. We used to live really close to this place in martinez and ordered regularly. We moved to clayton and went without for 4 months and that was too long. Best place ever.
