Fried rice was so tasty

Visited this restaurant with family on thanksgiving day for lunch. I had veg thali, kids had paneer butter masala and parotta, chola battura, and combo tiffin #1. Food was fresh, flavorful, and hot. The thali was unlimited they served any dish you ask for again. The vegetables on the thali were fresh and tasty. They served avarakkai as a side dish which is not cheap vegetable as it is more cooked in southern India and not grown widely in US. Will recommend this place for good vegetarian light meal. The food had no preservatives or msg as you don't feel heavy after eating

Ordered cheese masala dosa, got masala dosa. On complaining they refunded the price difference between cheese masala dosa and masala dosa.

I couldn’t eat it at all. Oil is too old I guess, I could take it distinctly. What are you guys cooking and serving. Worst experience so far

Best south Indian veg restaurant in California. Always consistent since day 1. Their chutney & sambar is damn good comparable to the one you get in Tamil nadu. Had their rava dosa, podi ghee idli, thali, kara dosa & more. It was excellent. They are providing 4 chutneys now on weekends. My favorite was coconut & ginger. Filter coffee was excellent as well. Overall, amazing food & deserves more recognition for the amazing food they're providing to the tri valley people.

This is a great where you get service and good food with a smile!! May not have all the bells and whistles of some fancy overpriced restaurant, however it has great service. We’ve loved going here for the Dosas and Methu Vadas. They come piping hot and always so delicious. The gentleman at the front counter is very helpful and always has a smile to greet you! We’ll continue going here! We like this place better than Mylapore and a few other hyped up Dosa joints. Better food here imo.

Stay away from this restaurant. There are many other good south Indian restaurants nearby. We went here to have meals and it was pathetic to say the least. They mixed milk + rice saying it’s curd rice, gave us pulav instead of biryani, For poriyal, they gave extremely oily quick potato fry, store bought chapati which was un cooked, instead of kootu they gave us chana masala. Other food items very oily and tasted okay. They could have just said meals was not available instead of making a mess. Not coming here again, won’t recommend.

We've been going to ASV for several months now. The dosas are big, the sambar taste is good, the staff is friendly and they use lots of veggies in the sambar. We like the thali as well for lunch. They introduced a happy hour in the evening which has discounted dosas. They've added some variety to the menu recently as well.
