Tried the paneer pakora , mutton and butter chicken with the naan- everything was awesome!

The food was very delicious, well-portioned and well-priced for the area. We ordered several different dishes and found the quality consistently excellent. The chai was especially worth ordering—warm, cozy, and comforting. Service was very attentive and friendly, with the owner himself taking care of us. The smell from the kitchen as our food cooked had my mouth watering. The atmosphere was lovely, with just-right lighting and lively Bollywood music that made the meal feel extra fun. I really enjoyed my night at Ashoka and would definitely recommend it!

We were greeted by the owner the moment we walked in and were seated quickly. Service was fast and the owner took time to answer questions about the dishes. Atmosphere is very chill. Prices are great for the tri-city area! The chai was lovely, and I would definitely get the lamb karahi again.

We ordered Sweet Lassi, Mango Lassi, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chole Bhature, Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer and Garlic Naan. There was too much food color - so much so that my fingers were red for the next day. Both gravy's - paneer & chicken tasted the same.

Quick and easy takeout and dine in! Delicious food, and mild - hot levels available! My favorites are the Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken and Naan, but their Vegetable Biryani, Samosa and Chicken Tikka Masala are also delicious. Don't forget to round out your meal with a refreshing and sweet Mango Lassi

The butter chicken, mango lassi, samosas, eggplant curry, and lamb vindaloo are all wonderfully delicous. I really enjoy the food at Ashoka. The service is great as well, they are always very nice and welcoming. Overall it is great spot with good food, good service and reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back.

Kid-friendliness: Mild spice is actually mild, quite a few options my kids enjoy especially shahi paneer

Ashoka is our Go-To Indian food spot in Pleasanton. All the food is always so fresh and flavorful. The owners are wonderful folks who always greet us with a smile. A favorite of my friends and family. The Chicken Tikka paired with garlic naan and papadum is a favorite.

Great spot for great takeout! We ordered 2 tikka masala’s for dinner- one medium and one spicy with rice and two different kinds of naan. Both meals were delicious and we would absolutely go back for more, we would just likely order it spicier next time (spicy was more of a medium). It is a very casual dining spot if you go to eat there but our food was quick, hot, the order was correct and the staff was incredibly friendly both over the phone and in person. We’ll be back!
