Had Eggs Benedict with a side of hash browns which I couldn’t finish. Absolutely delicious! Large portions and seasoned to perfection.
Despite the large crowd waiting, the service was fast. Little time between ordering and food delivery to the table.
Great food and great service!! I will definitely be returning. 😋

I love Eggs Benedict, and Bill's Cafe did not disappoint. I ordered the California Benedict and it was so good! The eggs were perfectly cooked with lush whites, the creamy avocado slices, the bacon and hollandaise sauce.... it was all so good. Prices seemed a bit steep but I'm not from the area so not sure if that's just what food costs nowadays. Anyhow, I loved the California Benedict and would highly recommend it!

I wanted to love this place. It's just eh. Food was OK. Had a guave mimosa and it was OK. Didn't wow me. Definitely busy place. Told it was a 45-min wait, but people ate fast and we were seated in half the time.

I haven't been here in a while and was really surprised how poor the experience has become. Im not sure if this place is under new ownership or management but I definitely wont be returning here.
The booth was dirty, crumbs all over the seat, clearly it had not been cleaned in some time. The service was marginal at best, I wanted to pay but watched as our server chatted away on her phone in the dining area.
The food was mediocre but they want to charge you as though it’s more than a basic menu. The food was clearly just reheated, hashbriwns hot on the outside and cold in the middle. The bacon was definitely cooked prior and maybe microwaved to serve, very rubbery and some pieces barely warm
Just a poor experience overall and certainly not worth the money. I will not be back. .

Update 2025
We stopped by on a busy morning and, surprisingly, got seated right away—though there was a bit of a mix-up at first. We were shown to an outdoor table, only to be brought back inside once they realized nothing was actually available out there. After a short wait, we ended up with an indoor spot.
The menu is massive, with prices ranging widely—some items around $16, others creeping up to $25. The $25 bagel with lox felt pretty steep, especially considering the onions weren’t pickled as expected. Portions were generous—I couldn’t even finish my lox, which says a lot.
One small hiccup: the English muffin that came with our entrée arrived only after everything else on our plates was gone, so it felt more like an afterthought than part of the meal.
Aside from that, service was excellent. Our waiter, Fernando, was warm and attentive. I might consider returning for a lighter bite and a drink. If they take reservations, I’d recommend making one—it gets packed quickly.
Overall, the food quality and flavor were solid, but the presentation didn’t leave much of an impression. It’s not the kind of spot that charms you visually—it’s more of a big, bustling breakfast joint than a cozy brunch haven.

The wait-list says let staff know if you have more than 6. We told her 12. They called us 35 minutes later for 6 people. We waited over an hour to be seated. No apology for messing that up. However the server gentleman was excellent and the food portions were large and delicious.
Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Ordered the Chilaquiles! Not traditional but good enough!
Best dish was the tri tip Benedict. Bread pudding french toast was also quite good. The classic bills skillet was nothing special, but exactly as described. Skip the crispy chicken Cesar salad. The chicken was very subpar and the salad itself is just really simply put together. Everything tasted good but also standard. Come here for a good no frills solid brunch.

This place is a disgrace to SF. Inflated ego and prices. If you have to ask anyone if they know who you are, then you’re a nobody. Spend your time and your money somewhere else
