Mushroom Lasagna $6.99 Wild &farmed mushrooms, onions, fresh pasta, marinara sauce, mozzarella-ricotta-parmesan cheeses, basil, salad of romaine, with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, radishes topped with a lemon vinaigrette. Super earthy with the bright vinaigrette blasting thru. Green tomatoes were a treat. Another amazing value from Chef Steven.

I always come here if I am eating out and want something close to my work at a reasonable price. My office's cafeteria leaves much to be desired, so a lot of my co-workers make the short walk here too. It's open to the public and doesn't require you to sign in or anything. I find the food to be very good and fairly diverse for an office cafeteria (they have standard salads, burgers, and then some type of main entree; I had a pretty good lasagna a few days ago). The price is also very cheap, at least in comparison to my office's. The large plate of lasagna with garlic bread and salad was under $10 (this would cost $15 at my office cafeteria, if they ever sold something this "exotic"). You also get a discount if you're an Oracle employee. This place is legit and always my go-to for something quick and closeby.

This is an Oracle employee cafe but accessible to the public (no signs, just enter the north building through the courtyard). Lots of office workers in adjacent buildings walk over here for lunch since the food is far superior than their company's cafe. Food is very good and diverse, and the employees seem to have pride in their work. I don't know why you'd drive here for lunch as some Yelp reviewers suggest. But, if you are at a nearby office, walk over and enjoy much better food than your office provides!

Spent $11 on BBQ today. The meat was extremely undercooked. It was completely pink inside and in some corners, red. Could not eat my meal.

Called to verify they are open to the public and was told yes they are. I showed up just to find out that they are closed at certain times during the day. I suggested to the manager that he claim his YELP page and update the hours. He explained that he doesn't really want to advertise to the public. So basically he doesn't care about my experience unless I work at ORACALE.

Updated Review: The first time I came here, I rated this place a three because my entree wasn't that good. I had this Eggplant Mediterranean entree and I was disappointed because the eggplant was tough and not easy to cut. Up to date, I've been here three times now and my last two experiences here were good. The second time I came here, I got the Chili Verde plate and it was yummy. The pork cubes were tender and the sauce, tasty. For my dessert, I got their chocolate chip cookie and it was filled with chocolate! The texture was soft on the inside and perfectly baked on the outside. This third time I came here, I had the Bicol Express with pork shoulder. I loved how they had the option of giving you brown or white rice and of course, I got the brown. It also came with baby bok choy and I gotta admit, everything was delish! I'm really glad I came back here because it made me realize that I can't judge a place by my first entree because the other food selections could be really good. Considering how much you pay here which is very reasonable and my overall experience with the quality of their food, I would totally come back here!

You wouldn't find this place if you weren't looking. And even then, looking from the outside4, you might think there's no way this could possibly be as good as everyone says. Well, fortunately for those willing to make the trek it is that good, reasonably priced, and even offers outdoor seating. Some things you'll likely want to know: 1 - yes, it is in the Oracle building. There is no signage for the restaurant. It looks like a corporate cafeteria and yes you can go in even if you don't work for Oracle. There are restrooms, it is very clean, and you can sit inside, outside, or take your food to go. Service is cafeteria style (grab a tray and go place your order.) 2 - there are stations. This is truly a multi-faceted restaurant that gives everything from burgers and fries to salads and custom made food. They have a very nice pizza over and some pretty good looking pizza. They have a salad bar with a wide variety of toppings. They have a daily special (noodle bar, risotto bar, etc.) They will custom make you a sandwich or you can make your own. They have coffee bar. They have juices and fountain beverages. 3 - the people are really nice. I would love to put some emphasis on that, but everyone in there is nice and the staff is consistent. 4 - prices are fair. They're great if you get the Oracle discount, otherwise they're priced about where they should be with the bonus of variety. 5 - they're environmentally conscious and genuinely seem to care about the ingredients. Everything looks fresh and portions are not on the small size. it won't be your favorite restaurant of all time, but the Bon Appetite Cafe could easily become a regular lunch stop that won't break the bank. The food is good, tasty, fairly priced, and consistent. Give it a try; you won't regret it.

Three reviews and no one mentions this cafe is actually inside of Oracle's Pleasanton office? Well, it is, and if you've ever eaten in a software company's fancy cafeteria, you know they tend to be on the nicer end of company cafeterias and are often open to the public, as is this Bon Appetit location. They also tend to be somewhat subsidized by the parent company, so the food is reasonably priced; at this location, Oracle employees get an additional discount on those prices. The adjacent parking lot even has free surface parking (but a lot of parking is free in Pleasanton so this may be a non-issue anyway). This cafe is legit. I went to the risotto bar today and asked the guy if he could give me everything and he said, "Everything?" and I said, "Yes, everything, I'm from Texas." Which I think he knew meant, I wasn't going to be the person who said, "oh just a little cheese" or "just a little cream" or "no cheese" (?!?). And certainly, with the main choices being chicken or bacon or veggie, I meant everything. He piled up my bowl sky high with chicken, bacon, veggies, Arborio rice, cream, Parmesan cheese--AND even topped with with a sprinkle of fresh parsley--AND I totally had enough left over for late afternoon snack. After the sad complimentary breakfast at my hotel this morning, I am totally getting to work early tomorrow to get my grub and coffee on and hopefully get a bonus mid-morning snack in the process. Cause breakfast and second breakfast are the most important meal(s) of the day.

Lunches are good. Great salad bar! AND THE BEST BISCOTTIS! I always get one when I'm in the office.

Always super clean, staff is friendly and they make the best food here. They use fresh, organic, quality ingredients and you can definitely taste it. I have breakfast here almost every morning. Jose, the chef is the best! I'm somewhat boring and predictable and have the same thing all the time so when he sees me walking up, he knows exactly what I want and gets started on my order. I think I can honestly say, you wont' get a better quality breakfast anywhere else and you can't be the price. Lunch is also great with many, many options for everyone (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, they even have a biggest l**** special for those of us watching our waistline). They do a good job of rotating the menu, but everyday there are still plenty of options to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters and most sensitive of stomachs.

Luckily, I work right across the street from this delicious cafe. They tend to serve pretty healthy food in good portions and in a timely manner. Never had a bad meal here wether it was breakfast or lunch. Only downfall is they close too early (1400hrs) or else I would eat dinner here as well.

Must check out this cafe! I am lucky enough to work within walking distance so I tend to eat here a lot. The good news is that they are very affordable! I can get two fresh, delicious meals for under $10. Their website is updated every week with the new specials and today's is grilled teriyaki beef flank steak with cilantro rice and roasted vegetables. I can not wait!! They have amazing breakfasts too... What really sets this cafe apart is how they cater to every type of eater. They have "farm to fork" meals, gluten free meals, veggie meals, low carbon meals and a few more. They also have a sandwich bar and salad bar every day. When you order burgers or hot sandwiches they offer grass fed, organic, natural, and low antibiotic options. I truly can not say enough for this cafe. The price is right and the meals are (mostly) guilt free. (I had the BLTA omelet yesterday... apple wood smoked bacon, tomato, romaine lettuce and avocado with a side of skillet potatoes... yum! It was so good I didn't have any room left to feel guilty!) Now I'm hungry... Enjoy!
