Owner RANI opened Café ChaiAum in the former Subway location to share her passion for a love of baking. The renovations took months to complete, but the results are charming and comforting. Relaxing music plays in the background, tables are gorgeous handcrafted wood slabs, and the vibe is genuine.

At the center of it all is the star performer, a delectable, piping hot chai, poured from a huge, shiny silver tea pots—the biggest I’ve ever seen! The chai is made with love, organic milk and spices from Nepal, which directly supports farmers there.

As I was leaving, Rani graciously refilled my cup and generously offered me a sweet Diwali treat. On the menu are also homemade pastries (both savoy and sweet) and all looked delicious. Come by and support your local small business owner, drink delicious tea and be part of a lovely community.

We had a very pleasant time celebrating here. The owner is incredibly welcoming, and there is an excellent variety of snacks to choose from. A huge hit with the kids was the Hibiscus drink —they couldn't get enough of it! Perfect for small gatherings.

I really wanted to like this place, I was impressed to see the high ratings and decided to give it a try, but unfortunately I was disappointed in the food. I must highlight the positive parts - it's a great place to hang out or work, and the servers are really nice.
Now the part that disappointed was the food. The Chai was ok, nothing special, the Frankie(wrap) was clearly pre made and heated in a microwave or oven- but it heated up unevenly and the center was cold. Again the taste was average - nothing to write home about. Also gave their momos a try - not bad but not amazing. I wish the food tasted better, it's pretty average or meh. So long story short - don't expect amazing food, but do expect a nice ambiance to hang out or get your work done.

I visited ChaiAum recently and loved the calm, welcoming vibe. The space is thoughtfully designed, cozy seating, beautiful colors, and shelves that make you want to stay and relax. It feels like a neighborhood spot where you can slow down.

The Himalayan chiya was excellent, rich, aromatic, and not overly sweet. We also tried the sel roti, which was fresh, crispy on the outside, and perfect with chai. You can tell care goes into both the food and the presentation.

This is a great place to catch up with friends, read, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a warm drink. Highly recommend stopping by if you appreciate good chai, comforting snacks, and a peaceful atmosphere.

ChaiAum cafe is a nice cozy cafe serving organic food with everything from drinks like Himalayan Chiya (authentic Nepali tea) to jaggery cookies and Himalayan Frankie Wraps made fresh in house. The owners are very hospitable and the service is warm and welcoming. The ambience is nice too. Definitely a MUST visit for that cup of chai ☕️ and delicious snacks.
