Such a fun vibe!! Only stopped for a glass of wine but can’t wait to be back for food
Wonderful food but because we had it on Christmas day it was super packed. But the help was very very good and the food was excellent. It was a worthwhile experience! And a lovely Merry Christmas meal!!

Wonderful food. Welcoming staff but empty dishes left on table too long. Even had to hold my empty salad plate while they served us the main dish.
Never again. 15 minute wait to be even acknowledged that we were sitting at the table (we were on time for a 2 pm Christmas reservation). Husband had to signal for the waiter. Five people sitting at a four-person table. Rushed. I ordered a Diet Coke and was handed (not served, handed) a glass and a ROOM TEMPERATURE can. I had to ask for a glass of ice and pour the coke from the glass into the ice. There is a BAR there. No excuse for this. Appetizers were still being eaten when our entrees showed up and we had to let them go because there was no room on the table for the entree plates, let alone the appetizers. The bruschetta was good. Everything else was mediocre and definitely not worth the price charged. We were totally rushed. From the time the waiter showed up until we were done was 35 minutes, and not because we were eating fast. We paid about $300 for bad service, mediocre food, and poor service. Basically, Christmas dinner, the first I had not cooked in 30 years, was ruined. Never again.
I made a reservation and when my friend and I arrived, the restaurant was almost closing, yet we were welcomed with so much kindness and attention by the chef and owner himself. His passion and care truly made all the difference. The food was absolutely incredible, full of flavor and authenticity, and the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and extremely comfortable. It was honestly the best dining experience I've had in years. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian experience.
Price was ridiculously high and the food quality was poor..
Felt ripped off when we left. They charged $14 for a small cup of minestrone soup that was bland and watery and $14 for lettuce and croutons that was a joke.

I seldom find fault with restaurants, but.... I could only get a reservation for 3pm. Told there were no openings after . Place was almost empty. And was that way even when we left. The bread was horrible! It was store bought sourdough that should have been used for bread crumbs. You couldn't even hold a piece. It literally fell apart. Portions were ok. Pasta dishes were fine. Lobster ravioli was very good. My steak was Weird. Like it was buried somewhere and had to be found. Maybe 1/2 “ thick. There was 1 piece of carrot, 1 piece of broccoli, “1” string bean, 2 pieces of zucchini, 2 tablespoons of polenta (which was quite good) For $15 the house salad was not worth it. I realize it was a holiday and no one probably wanted to be there. So take that into consideration. But I will not recommend. I should've gotten the turkey🦃!
Very disappointing experience
I only ate here because all other restaurants nearby were already closed after 9 p.m. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, and I ordered the homemade meatballs with pasta. Unfortunately, shortly after eating, I felt extremely unwell and had to vomit in the restaurant’s restroom.
When I informed the staff, the manager reacted dismissively, suggesting that I must have eaten something bad before coming in, and that the food couldn’t be the cause since other guests had ordered it that day. I found this attitude quite unacceptable — a little responsibility or empathy would have gone a long way.
Unfortunately, this experience completely ruined my evening. I will definitely not be returning.🤮

Visiting for the first time with my daughter today. The staffs greeted us with warmth and friendly smile. I was recommended a dish that’s on the dinner menu. It was the best pasta I’ve ever had! The cream sauce was so creamy and has a bit of sweetness. The tase and texture made a perfect combination for the base. Generous amount of scallops and shrimps were served with the pasta. I simply loved it so much that for the first time ever, I finished a whole plate of pasta. We had a wonderful lunch experience. We also ordered tiramisu after meal and the moisture and aroma in it was amazing! Thank you so much for the awesome food and service!

We took a relative to Chianti Reserve for her birthday. The service was excellent. We ordered the salmon appetizer which was very excellent along with everything else we ordered. I had the sea bass and would highly recommend it. This is one of our favorite places in Pleasanton.

The staff are attentive, knowable and welcoming. The food is great! The patrale soul is the best and the veal marsala its equal.

What a great restaurant. We found it by chance, while driving through Pleasanton on a Sunday evening, and it was the only one opened past 8:30pm. The kids ordered the Carbonara and Chicken Parmigiana, my husband had the pasta Bolognese and I had the beet salad and the carpaccio. Everything was top notch! My daughter is pretty picky and she ate everything on her plate (which is very rare). Michelangelo, the owner and/or manager, was the cherry on top. Very nice and attentive, making sure everything was the way we liked. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!!

Other than the bread being not the best and my wife canoli being less than expected,
THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME!!!
I loved the whole ambiance, felt old and vintage.
We watched an old 49ers game (that I knew the result of)on the TV.
Our waiter was on his job, service was great, and the old scholl Italian dude at the bar was awesome.
CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!
GREAT LUNCH DATE WITH THE MRS.
LOVED IT!!
