Chianti Reserve is our favorite restaurant on Main Street! The food is always delicious and the specials of the day are outstanding. The fish dishes are always fresh and all the dishes are tastefully prepared! The managers and servers are friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is warm and we're treated like family!

This was our first time to eat at Chianti's and we were very impressed! My husband is a Celiac and must eat gluten-free. They were very accommodating and his steak was delicious. I had the clam and mussel pasta and it was also very good. The only drawback is how loud it is in the restaurant but we will be back!

Chianti Ristorante in Pleasanton is a classic Italian restaurant that drew me in because it was one of the few restaurants I passed that were open on Superbowl Sunday. ? You can always get a few customers that way!I enjoyed the warm atmosphere created by the dark wood interior and pleasant staff. The complimentary bread was warm and soft and served with a delicious pesto-flavored olive oil dip. My aperol spritz was quite refreshing as well—I've only recently been drinking them, and they're a fun switch from darker spirits or a full, rich glass of red wine.Starting with a classic caesar salad felt required to me, and this one fit that bill just fine. I went for their fettucine with vodka cream sauce for my main, largely because I was intrigued by the use of both smoked and fresh salmon in it, and because creamy dill sauces call to me. It definitely was enough for two meals and tasty!Chianti Ristorante fulfills that classic Italian niche well.

Went for valentine diner with my wife, it was busy, extra tables squeezed in. Food was tasty but OMG the price for what you got was shocking, not sure if this is normal but this is my $45.00 veal dish, three tiny pieces of veal, small portion of polenta and little veg. To be honest four bites and it was gone. My wife had chicken breast but what was served was part of a full chicken breast cut up. It’s a shame as the food tasted great

We took friends here for their first time. They loved it, as we knew they would. Food, wine, service and friendliness of Leonardo, Johnnie and all the staff was, as always, excellent. A gem in Pleasanton.

I usually don't like Italian food, it just sits too heavy in my belly. So when my customer suggested Italian I was bummed out. We arrived and I was impressed by the true "Italian Vibe". Waiters, bar tender and manager all had that really cool Italian accent, were really funny and super engaging. It was a true experience just sitting down and ordering drinks. Then I had to order and was unsure of what I really wanted considering Italian is not top on my list. I started with the Carpaccio which melted in my mouth and what I tasted was 5 flavors all at once! It was amazing! Then came my dinner. I don't remember the name of it but it was a spicy, garlic marinara sauce over pasta and I added meatballs. Well normally I won't finish my meal but I as soon as I took my first bite, all I remember from that point was taking my last bite. The flavor was so perfectly crafted, the noodles were cooked so perfectly and my love of Italian food was forever changed. I am no expert on Italian food but, in my opinion, this place had the best I've ever had. I tried my friends Alfredo Tortellini and the sauce was so creamy with perfectly balanced cheesiness. Oh my, what a flavor. We finished with three deserts, the Tiramisu, Limoncello cake, and the chocolate cake. Tiramisu, which I don't normally eat (like flan, blah), was insane. Anyone reading this, go to Chianti's and let your mind be blown. FYI, it said "permanently closed on both Apple and Google maps", don't believe it, they are never going anywhere with this quality food and experience.

Very good experience at Chianti Reserve! Small space so a bit noisy but not so loud that it affects conversation. Food was very good for all. Service was excellent. If I had any advice it would be to improve the wine list. We tried a few but none of them were that good so we went with a Chianti Reserva we knew was good from past experience. Thank you so much for the fine experience!!

We were seated right away at a very good table. The head guy (perhaps the owner) was very friendly, made excellent recommendations for food and wine and made sure everything was to our liking. It was. Very positive dining experience.

I learned of this place from my sister in law. She frequently dines here with her family of two kids and her husband. The restaurant is easy to find as it's located on main St. With plenty of parking available. The interior is clean and inviting. The Staff there are so nice and treat you like family. They are constantly tending to the customers and keep things simple. Im a vegetarian and so I was able to manipulate their menu to accommodate my requests. It was an easy adjustment. This is a bit on the pricey side and I'm sure there's plenty of other Italian restaurants that have great food at a more cost-effective price, but for the hospitality, location, staff friendliness and ambience..this place is worth the money spent. Check them out.

The food was delicious! I had the Ravioli, but had to substitute pesto due to a food allergy. Dad had the chicken Parmesan and my brother had the spaghetti with meatballs. Dessert was wonderful too!! I recommend the canoli. Our server was extremely nice and treated my father very well. Highly recommend ❤️

Made an advance reservation for Christmas Eve, and reviewed the menu on the restaurant website at that time. When we arrived, the menu was essentially identical....but with prices 20%-30% higher than listed on the website. Nowhere was it stated on the menu or the website that there would be a Christmas Eve surcharge, so to speak. When I asked the manager about the discrepancy, he stated that it was a “special holiday menu”. I asked what was special about the menu, other than the inflated prices....I was told nothing. I certainly felt misled, as I never would have made the reservation knowing about the inflated prices. Now, I don't mind paying a premium price if there is really something “special” about the menu, but that was not the case at all. It became more disappointing when the food arrived. The entrees were extremely small portions and of mediocre quality. In addition, our table was near the door, which for some reason was propped open on a cold night. My wife never took off her coat because it was so chilly. We couldn't wait to leave. Terrible experience on Christmas Eve, I felt misled and ripped off....never again.
