Stay away from this place if you don’t want to get food poisoning! Our whole party got awful food poisoning from eating here and I had to be hospitalized and given IV fluids at 5 in the morning. Will report them to alameda county health department.

I tried the Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles. The thick soup was hung on the smooth rice noodles. It was delicious and enjoyable. The crispy pig ears with red oil were crispy and delicious. ?

We both got awful food poisoning from two different dishes - the Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles and the Tofu Pudding Rice Noodles.

I like CloudDish. Their guoqiao rice noodles are good, and the broth is flavorful. On the other hand, the small pot is okay, but I don't recommend it.

This place has gone downhill significantly compared to when it first opened. I used to dine here weekly since I live nearby, and despite the small portions, I enjoyed the traditional Guoqiao rice noodles. I often had to order extra chicken in the soup just to feel remotely fed (don’t let the big bowl fool you), and the menu has always been quite limited. However, in the past few months, the quality has noticeably declined. The soup base no longer tastes fresh and has become overly oily and salty. It's clear they're not making fresh batches of soup as frequently as before.
On my most recent visit last Sunday, the rose pastry I ordered was no longer available, replaced by an overpriced, packaged alternative. Neither the soup nor the ingredients tasted fresh: the bone-in chicken had a sour taste, and the shrimp smelled and tasted foul. I left hungry and very disappointed. After giving this place more than enough chances, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

TLDR- shorter male cashier made experience traumatic by arguing that it’s the customer’s fault when served incorrect food
My post is only about the service we had at the cashier by the man who looks like the manager.
We ordered a pastry that supposedly had roses in it. The waiter dropped it off and we proceeded to open up a plastic package to get to it. Upon splitting it in half and tasting it, I noticed it didn’t had any rose flavor. That’s when I relooked at the package.
After asking the server what exactly we ate, he said he took the wrong floral pastry but since we ate it there was nothing they could do. (All packaging had a flower on it. Very light font Chinese characters.)
We did enjoy the pastry so proceeded to try and purchase more of the floral pastry that had Jasmin in it. But found it was nowhere to be found on the online ordering menu.
I approached the cashier to show him it was not there. He said back to me that we already ate it and it was the same price as the rose pastry. (Attached are photos of the pastry section showing no other floral pastries except rose.)
As a customer, I would not know what the price is without seeing it on the menu. And then he blamed it on me that I already ate the pastry. I proceeded to tell him, if a customer was allergic or had issues, they wouldn’t even be able to tell medical personnel what they ate. He then said “oh well I can give you your money back”. And kept muttering to my mother and I how it was just $5.50 and that we made a big deal out of nothing.
After trying to let him know it wasn’t the money that made us angry but his response and attitude towards solving the mistake. The issue was “it’s your fault because you ate it so there’s nothing I can do.” Does that mean as a customer you expect us to confirm we got what we ordered before consuming it?
At the end, we still purchased some more of their other imported pastry products. But this cashier kept on saying stuff and ultimately told another waitress to help us checkout. He didn’t even want to be part of finishing up the payment process at this point. Yet he stood over her shoulder continuing to say it was our fault and that it’s not worth it over $5.50.
I agree it’s not worth it. It’s all principle and maybe naive expectations that a restaurant would not serve incorrect food and expect the customer to find out before eating it, but I’d never want someone else to have to experience the same service and deceived.
The food was actually fresh and cooked well. The other waiters were food. Tipped 15% because I really couldn’t give more since he just really made lunch a terrible experience.

Restaurantji Recommends
I ordered the traditional Yunnan rice noodles for $19.99. The bowl was large, but there weren't many ingredients. Since I'm not from Yunnan, I can't comment on the authenticity of the flavor, but overall, the taste was decent, and the broth was quite good, though the pepper flavor was too strong. Given the price, it felt a bit overpriced. The restaurant environment wasn't very clean; the floor was sticky, the chairs were greasy, and the spoon had stains and oil residue. There were no waitstaff to seat or take orders, and I had to scan a code to order myself, but some tables didn't even have a code available. At checkout, the owner chose an 18% tip without providing a receipt. The overall experience was terrible.

The presentation is fun, and you get a classic rice noodle experience. Spicy dishes are 4real spicy too careful! (I'm weak of body)
If you want to get the experience, I guess it’s fine to try but the bowl literally had just noodles and soup, there was barely anything else. The service was not good for us and the manager was pretty ignorant overall.

Authentic Yunnan crossing-bridge rice noodle. The soup was rich and tasty. The rice noodle was cooked just right and a bit springy. Ordering was all done through a mobile app. The service was fast and friendly. The noodle arrived in just minutes.
