Charming local restaurant with excellent service, very good food, and comfortable atmosphere.
Delatorre's never disappoints us. We enjoyed the primavera salad with crispy, tasty apples. The chicken scallopine with marsala sauce was delicious. The linguine al pesto was excellent, with pasta cooked al dente and slices of tender chicken as an accent. The toffee buttercake with ice cream made for an excellent dessert. The service was attentive and friendly. Although the prices have risen somewhat in the last year, they are still very competitive, and the preparation is top-notch.
Food is excellent, and staff are all great. A very consistent place to have an outstanding family meal/experience.
Great food - as always. Service was ok, had to ask for more water and server never asked if we wanted another beer or glass of wine. Restaurant was not full - especially for a Saturday night.
De La Torre's is a gem of a restaurant. Sadly located in a small shopping center you would not know that the service, food and atmosphere were so good. We've been going there for at least the last twenty years and plan to continue.
The Caesar Salad was delicious. The house made dressing was just right. Very good sized. Almost too large for a starter salad. The Calves Liver with onions and bacon was outstanding!!! So flavorful and tender. Perfectly prepared. I love Liver and Onions and this was as good as I have ever had.
It is always a great experience. Took my parents for their 55th anniversary and everyone at the restaurant made it a fantastic experience for my family. I will keep recommending this restaurant to anyone who will listen.
THE FRIED ARTICHOKES, CALAMARI AND BREAD WERE VERY GOOD AS APPETIZERS. CAESAR SALAD WAS OKAY, MINESTRONE SOUP WAS AVERAGE. SALMON WAS GOOD AND VEAL PARMESAN WAS VERY GOOD BUT VEAL WAS TOUGH. CHICKEN PICCATA DID NOT TASTE AS IT SHOULD. THE DUCK WAS OVER COOKED. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FINE. THE FLAVORS ARE NOT CORRECT.
What a pleasant surprise to stumble across this gem in this area! Great service from Elizabeth! Wonderful cuisine and atmosphere. We’re about to embark on our fall motorcycle trip and they made us feel right at home.

Yummy food! BUT even before we were ALL FINISHED with our dinners, bus person began to clean off our table & remove bread etc! Even reached across me to remove several plates & silverware not once but several times! Not appropriate! Will we return? YES as the food (veal scallopini & salmon) was delicious!

We dined for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We were seated immediately. My partner had the Chicken Marsala which was tender and bathed in a lovely wine sauce. I ordered the Italian Chicken panini with the Primavera Salad on the side. The sandwich was a delicious mouthful of pesto, cheese and chicken, balanced by the balsamic tanginess of the salad's dressing. Beto's service was friendly and efficient; we were in and out within an hour without feeling a bit rushed.
De La Torres Trattoria in Pleasanton is an absolute gem! The restaurant is cute and quaint, giving off such a cozy, welcoming vibe. We were seated right away, and from the start, the service was impeccable—friendly and incredibly attentive. You can really tell it’s a family-owned place, with such warmth and care put into every aspect of the experience.
The food? Amazing! Every dish was delicious, and the flavors felt fresh and authentic. It’s the perfect spot for a lovely date night or even a casual meet-up with colleagues. Truly, an all-around wonderful experience—I can't recommend it enough!

My meal was a major disappointment. My partner's was excellent. I had the pork Osso Bucco, and there was hardly any meat on the bone and it was very dry, not moist as I have experienced in the past. When the server asked how was it, I said fair, he then walked away without any follow up. Usually a nice place to eat, good experience. My recommendation is to avoid the Osso Bucco at all cost, not worth it.
It's always a pleasure to visit De La Torre, we always have a wonderful time with authentic flavors from Italy and kind service from everyone! Accommodating and friendly service always making sure we have the best experience!
Always a great evening from the time you enter until dessert! Service here is outstanding. The menu has favorites as well as daily offerings with a creative flare. The pasta is the freshest I've had. Already looking forward to our next visit.
