Great choice - loved the ambiance, service and amazing food. Definitely would make the drive to Pleasanton again to have another delicious dinner!

Don't order the eggplant parmesan. I had it there twice, thinking the first time it was just a bad day. It was just as disappointing the second time--firm, and hard to cut through. I took most of it home, thinking I could finish cooking it in the microwave for a minute or so. It was still tough. On the positive side, the bread was excellent and my lunch partners enjoy a salad and ravioli.

Calamari, seabass and eggplant dish all excellent. Service was excellent and very accommodating and attentive to one guest with a walker.

Small establishment that seems to have a good following. Service was good, personable, and checked in just enough. I had the risotto special and did not care for it, needed a lot more seasoning. Cannoli dessert was good. If we went back, would need to try something else before making a final decision

Returned to De La Trattoria for date night. I mentioned on the Open Table site that I'm gluten-intolerant. To my delight, when we arrived and were seated, the hostess/front of house manager came to our table to tell me all the things that could be made gluten-free. There were so many options, I couldn't remember them all! We both had the tagliatelle with bolognese--with GF penne as substitute for me. Delicious. Split the green mix salad with beets. Huge portion. Waitstaff was attentive but not annoying. You really feel like you're in good hands for an enjoyable dining experience.

I love this restaurant. The food and service is always excellent. Been going here for years.

Our go to every Friday night. Excellent food, caring team, always a wonderful way to begin to unwind from our week and enjoy an incredible meal with great people

Food was amazing! Linguine Alla Pesto was yum and toffee cake was decadent. Will def go back again. Price was reasonable compared to the other restaurants in town.

went out for a wonderful dinner here on a Friday eve. Ordered the steak special and the Crab and Shrimp Ravioli special and they were so very good. The atmosphere was relaxing and very enjoyable. And the service was impeccable. Plus we spluged for dessert! Cannoli was VERY enjoyable as was the warm apple pie w vanilla bean ice cream.This is definitely one of my favorite places for date night!

We were there early on a weekday - it was quiet and the service was exceptional! Food was really delicious. Beautiful tomatoes and burrata, well-cooked pasta. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Our first time here and we now have a new regular spot for excellent elevated Italian comfort food! From start to finish everything was excellent! And, we had soup, salad, app, 3 entrees and dessert & coffee! Don't judge by the exterior & location either, considering it's next to a massage parlor in a very un-assuming supermarket strip mall. It really only adds onto their hidden gem charm! Skip the parking hassle of going to snobby downtown when you can dine easily and comfortably here and have a better experience.

Always my favorite spot for a noise level allowing for good conversation. Professional wait staff, they know their business. Food is always scrumptious and perfectly cooked and presented. When I feel homesick for my family's recipes, I come here for my fix.
