Don't order the eggplant parmesan. I had it there twice, thinking the first time it was just a bad day. It was just as disappointing the second time--firm, and hard to cut through. I took most of it home, thinking I could finish cooking it in the microwave for a minute or so. It was still tough. On the positive side, the bread was excellent and my lunch partners enjoy a salad and ravioli.
Small establishment that seems to have a good following. Service was good, personable, and checked in just enough. I had the risotto special and did not care for it, needed a lot more seasoning. Cannoli dessert was good. If we went back, would need to try something else before making a final decision
Returned to De La Trattoria for date night. I mentioned on the Open Table site that I'm gluten-intolerant. To my delight, when we arrived and were seated, the hostess/front of house manager came to our table to tell me all the things that could be made gluten-free. There were so many options, I couldn't remember them all! We both had the tagliatelle with bolognese--with GF penne as substitute for me. Delicious. Split the green mix salad with beets. Huge portion. Waitstaff...
