Fantastic bar and incredible food. Not sure what it was called, but I had something that was like a Burmese mojito. And you have to try the Tea Leaf Salad!

Fantastic restaurant. The ambience here is pretty cool, it almost has a French bistro vibe, some sort of small cafe some place. The service is excellent and the food is always exceptional. Perhaps one of the most interesting and intriguing aspects is the fact that you just don't see too many Burmese restaurants around. If you're looking to try something new and delicious, this is certainly a worthwhile place to go.

The place is cute and clean. The service is excellent, efficient and friendly. The food is actually really good. The tea leaf salad and chicken kebat were great. The biriyani was good (but the huge chicken quarter was a bit overwhelming). Especially for Pleasanton, this is very good.

I was visiting Pleasanton overnight and Experience Burma was twice recommended to me. Having never experienced Burmese cuisine, I followed my friends' recommendations, and they were not wrong! The interior/ambiance was not fancy but pleasant. The menu descriptions sometimes reminded me of Thai food and sometimes Indian food. I ordered the Platha (similar to naan) with Cocunut Chicken Curry Dip as an appetizer, the Tea Leaf Salad with Lettuce, and the Chili Lamb. All of it was incredible! It was love at first bite all the way thru the end with amazing flavors that made my taste buds dance! I was attended to by the evening's boss, Celso, and received outstanding, attentive, top-notch service. I have no idea when I'll be back to Pleasanton again, but when I am, I'll definitely Experience Burma again!

Went here for Valentine’s Day, everything was delicious. Had the chicken biryani, chicken/pumpkin stew, and mango chicken. It was a ton of food, and great flavors. We found a new restaurant we will be frequenting often.

I was interested in trying them since they have a good amount of vegetarian options and offered a lunch combo. I ordered ahead for pickup via phone for a lemongrass tofu with tea leaf salad and samusa (you can pay $1.50 more to swap out rice for either the salad or samusa). They said it would be ready in 5 minutes, I didn't arrive until closer to 20 minutes later and all the parking spots nearby were taken. Although there were some issues with the phone signal and call breaking up when I had ordered in, when I got there, the order was correct on my receipt on the outside of the bag, so I paid and left since I assumed it was fine. However, when I actually opened up the containers, I found that what was supposed to be lemongrass tofu was actually a chicken dish. It also didn't really taste like lemongrass, it mostly tasted spicy. I also hadn't been expecting them to give only one samusa for the option of having samusa as one of the two sides for the lunch combo. I was underwhelmed by the amount of food relative to the price as well. However, I did think the amount of tea leaf salad was generous since they filled up a paper takeout box with it, and the tea leaf salad was yummy, not bitter but well seasoned and I liked how many sunflower seeds they put in it. (Unfortunately it did contain peanuts, I had forgotten to ask for no peanuts since the ingredients for the tea leaf salad are not listed out on the lunch combo menu picture that I had been looking at beforehand) Though the food itself was decent overall, I took off 2 stars due to the order being wrong and small portion.

Food- very tasty and not excessively spicy. Tried their tea leaf salad, samosa soup, plata, papaya salad, wok fried noodles and Burmese vegetables. All the dishes were great. Lots of vegetarian choices. Staff- friendly and attentive Wait- none Ambience- blah, the reason to take off one star

Food was really good. I regret not coming here earlier, and will definitely be returning.

My mom loves this place and thinks it's way better than any other Burmese restaurant in the Bay Area. Service is friendly and prompt. The food is pretty good. Atmosphere is just 4 stars, but they do have an area where you can sit outside, which is nice.
