The food was phenomenal. The first time I went there the waitress was phenomenal fun nice friendly. The second time I went there the food was still yet phenomenal but the waitress we had that day. She wasn’t so friendly. Again, the food is out of this world, and the price was as good as the food!

One of my absolute favorite sushi spots! You definitely want to get here just before the dinner rush, but trust me—it’s so worth it. I’ve been here countless times and usually forget to take pictures because I’m too excited to start eating. This time I ordered the Marilyn Monroe roll (pictured), the Red Dragon, Dancing Spicy Rainbow, 49’er Roll, and Yellow Dragon—and every single one was delicious. The presentation was beautiful too. Honestly, they need a bigger location with more seating because this place is THAT good!

Unfortunately this is not a good review, we've wanted to try this location for some time but when we did we were rather disappointed. The tables were very sticky there was something off about the rice which made all of our roles taste not quite right. It definitely seems like a place to go for a quick bite or maybe students in the area but it's not quality sushi.

Sashimi was okay.
Did not like the unagi sauce at all and I normally love it at all other locations.

First time visit. Able to get a table next to window. Food is good. The portion of Salmon teriyaki from the dinner entre is small but I had enough combined with rice, California rolls and soup, etc.

This was a tasty and good experience at Sushi Hanabi. I ordered the Chef's Choice Sashimi, Jin's Choice No. 2, and the Uni. Everything was good. My favorite piece of fish was in the Chef's Choice Sashimi and I will circle it in one of my pictures. All the seafood tasted very fresh and clean. Service was great and the ambiance was dark and welcoming.

The hardest part of moving away from Pleasanton was leaving Sushi Hanabi. I still make a three hour drive to come back and eat here because it is that good. Highly highly recommend the Soju roll and Victoria’s Secret roll, but you really can’t go wrong. Fish is really fresh, and the flavor combinations are perfect.

Lion king roll smelled fishy and wasn't fresh. Won't be getting again. The other roll (j something) was absolutely delicious. Agedashi tofu was overpriced and they used firm tofu which was a first for me since all the other Japanese restaurants I’ve been to use softer tofu. I may try this place again if I’m really in the mood for that J something roll. Oh and they also charge $.15 for a to go bag which I’ve never experienced at other restaurants.

Hanabi is an absolute perfect Japanese experience. It reminds me more of an izakaya in setup, but the sushi menu is out of this world. They have unique rolls, great nigiri, and a fantastic lineup of other Japanese staples.

Great sushi at this place! Had the Washington, Hanabi 3, lovers,? And miso and hot sake. The rolls were fresh and delicious.

Definitely going again! Will add photos next time.
