I recently discovered what I now consider the best South Indian restaurant in town, and I am compelled to share my delightful experience. This gem serves the most mouth-watering Chicken Dosa, which is an absolute must-try for anyone who appreciates the intricate flavors of South Indian cuisine. The dosa was perfectly crispy, and the chicken filling was tender, spicy, and full of flavor. But the culinary journey didn't stop there. The desserts were a revelation, with traditional options that tasted just like homemade, providing a sweet finish to an exceptional meal. To top it off, I decided to try the Masala Soda on a whim, and boy, was it a game-changer! Paired with a classic thumbs up, it was the perfect refreshment to complement the meal, adding a fizzy, spiced delight that cleansed the palate and refreshed the senses.Whether you're a connoisseur of South Indian cuisine or looking to explore its rich flavors for the first time, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. From the Chicken Dosa to the desserts and the unique Masala Soda, every aspect of my meal was memorable. I can't recommend this place enough!

I finally had a chance to try this new modern place in Stoneridge Mall. At the time of my visit they had been open for 8 months and the decor was unusually but pleasantly modern with clean lines. I ordered Combo #6 ... which had a beautifully crisp dosa stuffed with fluffy spiced potato, a lovely steamed idli, a vada with just the right fried texture and spice, 3 fresh chutneys and sambar. Initially I wasn't too sure about the pongal, but it was a very tasty pudding like sweet made out of moong dal and spices. The flavor was really nice and not overly sweet. The meal brought back a lot of memories of travels in India and it was spot on. Service was fast and efficient.

Pretty basic but good food. Ambience is good as well. Wouldn't recommend the drinks though.

We love Id Cafe food and had been going all the way to Fremont for ID Cafe for a long time and were super happy when the Pleasanton one opened. Never ever we had any issues but today at the ID cafe in Stoneridge mall, the manager on duty, Vishal, refused to give us a chutney to go with a take out order of pulugullu. We had sat down and had food there. Their Sambhar quantity is so less that you end up requesting more. He gave me the reason that I had requested extra sambhar while "dining in" that's why he couldn't give me one chutney to go with my "to go"order. Even for extra sambhar, they were making faces. We never faced this at the Fremont location. Vishal also said to me that he doesn't care about Yelp reviews. I hope the owner receives the feedback and does something about this because we love this place and would hate to stop going there just because of this one visit. This is so disappointing that they care about their penny worth of chutney more than their customer service and satisfaction!!

Eager to try something new on a business trip, I walked in here with a colleague. 50 minutes later, we have had the best eating experience on this trip, and we are having a conversation with the extremely courteous waiters. Make sure you ask for the Mango Yoghurt and the Chicken Dosa! You won’t regret it.

Food is excellent, best dosas in the area.Edit: Service is hit or miss. The second time I went, they forced me to leave a review before giving me the check, which made me kind of uncomfortable. The server literally stood over me to make sure I gave them a good review.

I had the Mumbai jini dosa, it was flavorful and delicious! A generous amount of food. I had two sauces instead of three because one had peanuts and I'm allergic and they were both lovely. The lentil soup was also great. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was not busy so we were seated and served pretty quickly. It's located in the mall where the burger place, the counter used to be!

My first time eating Indian food. I'm really impressed with the flavors and the food was really delicious. The manager really helped me with the selection of the item. I'm definitely going to come back to try more things. Amazing ambience.
