I just moved to California for military duty and had a taste for Hibachi. I do want to be clear, I did pay for the meal that I ended up not eating besides the edamame, regardless of the misinformation the waiter gave me I did not want her to be charged for the meal if I did not eat it pay for it. I chose to come out and eat and I know waiters get paid very little. Experience: All places I have been no matter what state I was in the hibachi meals simple. It was not on the menu so I asked could I get hibachi without sitting at the actual hibachi table. Lulu stated yes but inquired more about it due me not seeing what I was looking for. I specifically asked for the rice that comes with the vegetables in it. She stated it would, but when it came out it was not at all what I asked for. When I asked her about it she tried to state that it was in the menu. Which irritated me more when I didn’t order off the menu and asked her specifically because the menu did really show the hibachi entree that I am used to seeing. It could have been a language barrier, but if she didn’t really understand what I was asking she should have sent someone else over to explain . I will not be coming back to this establishment in the future.

Food is pretty mediocre. Lobster was overcooked. Place was pretty empty on a weekday.

The server and chef had good attentions, but just failed to execute on both ends. The server did not understand the items on the menu. Food quality did not match the price. The rice was undercooked and got stuck in my teeth.The server also gave us small shrimps after she said our meal comes with jumbo shrimp. She was really overwhelmed with the small crowd during our visited.

The food wasn’t as hot as it should have been the person waiting on us seem new. I will not be returning because I felt the price the expectations should have been.

When we arrived, I was surprised why The restaurant was very empty. After my experience, I see why it was service was not attentive quality of food did not match the price and it felt like a bother anytime I needed the server. The only saving grace would have to be the actual chef cooking in front of us as he put a lot of effort into his craft. We were incorrectly charged on food and assumed what was presented was normal practice, and to not cause a scene just went with it but when we saw the bill we saw that we were charged for something we did not ask for. We further chose not to make it an issue as we knew we would not be returning to this establishment.

This is a great hibachi place.you can have great meal with entertainment. The chefs are really good and are really good at hibachi. It’s a lil pricey but great for occasions. Very less vegetarian options but they accommodated and made changes to include one vegetarian person we had in our group.

If you want fresh seafood and premium steaks, Kimono is our choice of restaurant. Excellent service and friendly staff. We always come here to celebrate birthdays and iif we want to mpress our guest.

I enjoyed the food but felt it was a bit expensive for what you get. Im not usually a price stickler. I got a tuna roll, it came with just tuna, rice and seaweed. Tasted great but for only 6 tiny pieces for like $11 is a bit much.

We were there on 12/02 for dinner, the meal was okay, not impressive. But their service has much room to improve, we still tipped them 20% but sure we won’t be there soon.

We had a great time celebrating ? hubby's birthday! Nice staff, great food, priced perfectly. The chef was hilarious. They even let me bring in our own cake and joined in singing Happy Birthday ?
