Change of cook here led to food being a lot worse. The steamed noodles are half warm and not good at all. It’s a shame because last year the dishes here were amazing.

Food is so so but service is terrible. They will not serve you nicely and pay attention to you if your bill is under $300 I will not be back because of the bad service

I had dim sum today. In general, the food is comparable with Koi Palace and Mayflower nearby. The pan-fried bun is a nice surprise (the bun is soft & fluffy); the deep-fried tofu is crispy. I didn't try any expensive items but for regular dim sum, it is very tasty and top quality.

Today I had the strangest experience. As usual I paid the bill without tip, but the waitress looked at it and complained that I did not tip and asked me to add tip. I said the service charge already included according to notice by the door, she said they changed it (there was no change in food price), so I went to the entry to make sure notice still there and it was~ but the waitress followed me and insisted that I give her tip.
Pleasanton restaurant workers get $20/hr min wage per CA AB1228, plus the restaurant notice at entry that 15% and 18% service charge included for lunch and dinner respectively. I thought it was very unprofessional. Used to go about 1x a week for past 7 months, won’t be going regularly anymore.

We've seen this place a few times and wanted to have some Chinese food, so in we went. The staff all speak very limited English but are super friendly and prompt with everything. Don't go there and expect small chit chat with anyone, just getting down to business and eating. The place was clean. The service was quick. The food was good. The Mongolian beef was really good and flavorful. The lemon chicken has a great taste but I don't think there was any chicken in it. It tasted like all breading which wasn't crispy at all. Think funnel cake texture. It wasn't good and we wouldnt get that again. The chow mein said combo which we assumed was beef, shrimp and chicken. Turns out it was seafood combo with chicken. It wasn't bad, just surprised. The only thing that brings this review down is the fact that they put an 18% service charge automatically on every check and don't tell you. Which is a little disturbing and feels deceiving. If you're going to charge me for a tip, don't expect me to tip you again. Put up signs that say
18% automatic charge or have it posted on the menu

Mediocre food for an exceptionally high price. Would not come back here ever again. Salt and pepper fillet was mushy inside. Dried scallop fried rice was bland as white rice. 5/10

Some of the better Dim Sum in the East Bay. Always consistent and fairly priced.

The food was just ok, but the service was unacceptable. We repeatedly had to flag down staff just to place an order, and they messed up our order, bringing only two out of three items. No one checked on us, so we had to ask for assistance again. Mind you, there were only about 3 tables total at that time. When we requested boxes and the check, we were shocked to see an automatic 18% service fee included, which felt absurd given the poor service. Won't be returning.

Dropped by over the holiday weekend. The place wasn't busy when we got there but got busier as time went on.
The service was okay. They made sure our tea pot was full and our water glasses too.
The food was okay. Nothing that stood out but decent.
There was plenty of parking in the area.

Easily one of the best Cantonese restaurant in the area. imo the food is better than May Flower and on par with Koi Palace.

I would not recommend returning to this restaurant. Firstly, they include an automatic 15% service charge in the bill, yet still present the receipt with an additional suggested tip range of 18%–25%. This detail was only clear after my wife reviewed the itemized receipt, as the service charge notice is printed in very small text. If you do dine here, be cautious not to add an extra tip by mistake. Additionally, the food quality did not meet expectations, and portions were small. We ordered the lobster noodles, but the amount of lobster was disappointingly minimal. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
