Coming from SoCal, I was skeptical that there would be any good Korean food in Pleasanton. But believe me when I say that this was the best hotstone bimbimbap I've ever had. Also loved the ambience in here. Felt like a Korean mom had cooked a delicious meal for me. Will definitely be back again.

Got a half order of Galbi to go along with tofu soup with pork and kids chicken teriyaki bento. There was ONLY bones hidden underneath a few pieces of galbi meat. I couldn’t believe what I saw! I set all the bones they hid underneath to one side and took a photo! The galbi meat was also dry and did not taste fresh. Pork was old and dry in the soup and the tofu had gone bad and tasted sour. I ended up spitting it out and threw it away. Chicken teriyaki tasted like lighter fluid. Beware!!! Please see my photos!

The food here is great but the service person has a very poor attitude. It's an older woman. She made us feel uncomfortable. I hope that's something the restaurant can work on in the future.

To you who is looking for a local spot with good food and affordable prices, Korean Village is your place.

Their portion is very small, and there are not many ingredients in the hot pot. Also, we were there at lunch, and they automatically handwrote themselves a massive tip, as if it was on my behalf, with no regard for my consent whatsoever. I can only imagine this questionable practice of fraud occurs for every customer. I will never go back there again.

It is a 17 year old restaurant. It is difficult to know from outside this is a tasty restaurant. If you try their seafood pancake, you will come back over and over.If you are an expert, you know trying their appetizers will tell you the quality of their cooking. Yummy!

We've been eating here since we first moved to Livermore in 2013. Sure, we've tried other places in the area but this has consistently been our favorite throughout the years. What more can I say?

Great family owned business. Staff is very friendly and the portion is huge for the price.

A few people eating inside. The appetizers are delicious, but the Kimchi soup is just an average standard.

Together with my mom and aunt, we’ve been enjoying Korean Village for years. I live in Oakland where there are a lot of Korean food options, and this small family run restaurant is just as good if not better than those in my neighborhood! We love the seafood pancake, tofu soup, kalbi beef, and pan fried fish options, and I can’t say that I’ve ever had a bad dish. The banchan offerings are also awesome!Today was our first visit in months, and I’m so glad that they’re hanging in there with all of our current challenges. I ordered by phone and pick up was easy, friendly, with all the necessary precautions. Thank you Korean Village! I hope everyone reading this will get their Korean food fix by supporting Korean Village soon!
