We come here often & it's a reliable, solid choice. It's not the best sushi I've ever had, but it is good quality & I really like the fact that it's not such a commitment to a huge roll like at other sushi places. The umami oil salmon is my favorite, by far.

Service is also consistently good.

The price is raised & the fish filet on the sushi is very thin & small !!

The food quality and price reflect each other, which is actually a good sign. It's not the best but it's good and perfect for enjoying with my family. Plus my kids are eating much more Sushi these days and Sushi ain't cheap. The service sometimes takes a minute to get help at the table but overall they are friendly and accommodating.

So much fun! The staff are really nice. The food is yummy. The giveaways are cool. We love that my autistic daughter can use the screen to order and she loves taking plates from the belt and putting empties in the slot!

Overall this is a very nice place to enjoy sushi. Variety choices are good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pricing is kind of high, but it's sushi in the Bay Area...so expected.

Once you’ve gone to a Kura in Japan, it’s hard not to compare to the locations in the US. The menu caters to more American tastes in their US locations (duh) - think tempura Philadelphia rolls, California rolls, spider rolls, etc.

You either order through the tablet at your table or grab plates from the bottom conveyor belt.

Each nigiri plate (2 pieces) is roughly ~$4. Drinks are about the same. The soups are $11-15. For the amount and quality, I’m not sure if it is worth it, but if you just want to experience a conveyor sushi belt restaurant, then it’s fine as a special treat every once in a while.

You can play “bikkurapon” by opting in on the order tablet, and sliding your empty plates into the slot at your table. You will get a chance to win a small gacha prize when you reach 15 plates.

Once you’re done eating, you have to ‘check out’ on the tablet, and a server will come to you.

Unlike Japan, they are missing the hot water and complimentary green tea at each table.

Highly recommend downloading the app to make a reservation. The wait times are long if you just walk in.

Lots of young families dining here. The bathrooms were clean. Entrance was a little tight, I am not sure if it was 100% accessible.

Me and my husband have been customers of Kura for years, since it opened.Today we were very disappointed with the service and part of the food. First, the two guys ignored that we were at the checking, then a Latina lady came in, no greetings, just asked if we have been there before and follow her. The amount of wasabi was ridiculously little, so we asked the tall Asian guy to get us more wasabi, he left and never came back with the so difficult request we made. The ramen soup was cold and the meat not well cooked (hard to chew) as well as the noodle. What's wrong with this place? It used to be really good! They better change the quality of service and food back, otherwise the business will go down.

New table waiting system is bad, they separated two waiting lines, bar and table seat , bar estimate waiting time is 30mins, which is faster than table , but finally we wait for one hour, the table was called way more faster than the bar table, and when we get to the bar table , its was half empty, they should not separate two waiting lines

This all you can eat, rotating sushi is a fun and delicious place for everyone. The 20 minute wait was worth every bite. Sushi was fresh and for the most part constant. We will 100% eat here again.
