Limitless Axes & Ales

Our team booked a reservation for this place online for a team building activity. We booked over a month in advance and paid for the event. We received email confirmation for our booked time slot.

We had team members drive in from all parts of the Bay Area to be at the event, some traveling over an hour to be there.

When we arrived, the doors were shut and locked. We waited an hour in front of the location, and nobody ever showed up. We called the number on the email confirmation, and nobody picked up. It was pre-recorded and said they do not open until 4:30. If that is the case, their website shouldn't be taking bookings for outside those hours.

I would not recommend booking with this place. Very unprofessional.

The staff at Axes and Ales were great! They helped me with the many changes that happened during planning our event and the day of. Their customer service was great even thought they were really busy. Thank you for making our daughter’s event memorable, everyone had a great time.

Games are cool but it's not very fun when the boards are all tore up and the axe is dull and won't stick reliably.

The Axe game is a unique sport but can be frustrating when missing the throws.

Guy named Alejandro “helped” us the whole time. He checked me and my two friends in and was chill and nice. Brought us back to the spot where we would be throwing the axes. Set us up and had to call his boss a few times to help with the set up because he seemed high out of his mind and couldn’t retain a single thing. After he set up everything, he left us alone for about 20 minutes to practice. Then he came back and asked us a bunch of personal questions like where we’re from, how old we are, what our ethnic backgrounds were, etc. This is when he asked us why we were all so pretty. He particularly took a liking to one of my friends and kept asking her more personal questions about whether she was in a relationship and her physical appearance. This went on for about 20 minutes. We were very obviously uncomfortable and made that very clear by telling him things like “it’s none of your business” or “that’s a weird question” or just straight up ignoring him. At one point he had asked us which one of us smells really good and we ignored him so he then said that “we all must stink.” When it was my friends turn to throw the axe he had told me to “slap her ass” as she was walking up to take her turn which we told him was really weird to say. Giving creep heavily at this point. He was still very persistent and the only reason why he left us alone after that was because he got a phone call. He took it outside for about ten minutes. My friends and I had already agreed that if he were to come back, we were not gonna say anything and just end our session even though we had about 20 minutes left. But he came back after his phone call when we had about 10 minutes left of our session and we left feeling very uncomfortable and pissed off that he ruined our session that we payed for. He needs to get fired for harassment.
