Great 80s music
Great beer garden. Great beers!! BBQ Pulled Pork Flatbread was outstanding, it is a little sweet from the sauce. The Meat Candy was outstanding!!! Great ambiance and fantastic bartenders and service people. I was not impressed by the Chicken Wings, the Chicken Wing Drums were tough but the wings were good, and they needed more spices. The Chocolate Milk Stout was fantastic!!! We will be returning soon.
Don't sleep on their Cuban sandwich!
By far the best spot in Pleasanton. Cold beer, great food and the best owners/staff.
Service quality needs to improve to justify the high service charges requested.

Showed up with 25 hungry people 3 hours before they closed, and they shut down the kitchen a half hour earlier??? Fortunately, Zachary's took us.
Had just finished a 35 mile bike ride and needed some food. Stopped here and had a great beer and split a sandwich with my husband.

Having small children, it can be really hard to find a place to go out and enjoy a meal/drink. McKay’s is my families favorite place to enjoy in the Pleasanton area. The service is always top notch. The food is always good and they have an awesome rotating beer menu. The owner is a delightful human being who really makes McKays feel like her backyard and all are welcome. We can not recommend this place more.

We always love visiting McKay's, and we go often. Not only do they have a great selection of beer, but it's a fun atmosphere. They also have regular events like trivia and live music.

We had a private party there and the food, service and atmosphere was great, I appreciated their hospitality and support to make my gathering a success! Thank you to Barbara and team!
Fun place for a drink and music. It’s all outdoors. No table service. We only had drinks

I really enjoyed this place. However, my first impression was not a good one. A person really needs to know how to enter the establishment. What appeared to me to be the front door was actually the door leading to a hallway with the restrooms. After walking through the strange hallway, I ended up on a backyard patio. I had to stand there for a few long seconds and take in what was going on. After I regained what little control of my brain I have, I made my way to the bar and received expert instructions from the bartender. With beer and food ordered, I selected a table and was able to start taking in the atmosphere while sipping a great beer. It's a pleasant place with a relaxed vibe. The food was brought to the table quickly. The meat candy was awesome, as were the bacon-wrapped asparagus. I would definitely visit this location again if I ever find myself in this part of California, and I would recommend that others do the same. Oh, and enter through the alley next to the building. This is how the professionals do it.

A true pub, nearly like in Ireland.
Amazing experience. Barbara and her team are truly amazing. Atmosphere is super laid back and casual. Beers rotate weekly or sometimes daily. An amazing place to grab some good food and delicious beer. Place is clean and simple in a very good way.
