Great little pizza spot, was 1st introduced at a winery they were at in Livermore. The sourdough pizza is great I enjoy how soft it is. The pies come in 1 size but feed 2-3 depending on how hungry you are. Definitely will be back to try other signature pies.

I don’t use this word often or lightly, but *literally* the best pizza I’ve had in the Bay Area. The sourdough crust is to die for, and loads of toppings expertly paired.
If food be the music of love, bake on!

Read about the listing in the Top 100 places to eat and decided to try it out immediately. Ordered a couple of Vegetarian pies for pick up. Was pleasantly greeted with the wonderful smell of sourdough as soon as I walked in. The pies were simple yet tasted great. They were chewy, light and very flavorful. Reminded me of the food I ate in Europe. Lot of vegetarian options. Will definitely be back!

We had been wanting to try Much Ado About Pizza for ages and finally had the chance! We ordered the cheese bread and three pizzas: Taming of the Chew (pepperoni), Montague (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom), and Othello's Obsession, one of the vegetarian selections. As others have noted, the sourdough crust has AMAZING FLAVOR and TEXTURE; and the sauce is flavored just perfectly :-)
Also deserving of praise is the yummy fig-balsamic dressing that accompanied the side salad.
This small business is a labor of love for its owners, Kira and Mark. They had a creative vision and turned it into a reality that benefits all of us pizza lovers in the area.
After many years of allegiance to another local pizza establishment, we are turning the page and will make Much Ado About Pizza our go-to pizzeria from now on!

Came in today with my 2 daughters and was very surprised. Pizza was fantastic. Their fermented sourdough was amazing! Talked to the owner and found out that it is a family run business. She was friendly and informative. They also have an area for kids where they can color and play mini arcades. Highly suggest for an all around great experience!

THis is a take out only place it is pretty small. The sourdough pizza crust is so soft. This pizza just flops over does not have any crunch at all. The sauce tastes like store bought pizza sauce. Honestly thought i would try a small mom and pop, disappointed

This place is amazing! Their sourdough crust is honestly so good, it's light, crunchy, and chewy. I got the Taming of the Chew and it was packed with flavor. The pepperoni and cheese were super rich and tasty. You can just tell they use really good ingredients. And what makes it even cooler is that the owners, Mark and Kira, were teachers who left their jobs to follow their dream. Highly recommend checking this place out, you won't be disappointed!

The best pizza in Pleasanton.
Pizza is amazing! I've ordered the Capulet about 3-4 different times, and it is wonderful + consistent. The dough is really unique- very chewy and flavorful. I should really try a new combo.
I do think it's the best pizza option in the area, and it stands out because the dough and toppings/cheese blend are unique! It is a little expensive, but totally worth it for the quality imo. If you're looking for something more traditional (thin-crust, NYC style), I would skip, but otherwise I recommend!
Vegetarian options: They have a lot of veggie options that are quite interesting!

Dietary restrictions: If you are diabetic try this pizza! My husband has a continuous glucose monitor and we discovered that this pizza with its sourdough crust doesn’t give him the huge spikes that most pizza does.

Great quality pizza. Called in for a Marlowe (square) Act Five $33 and a custom Original (round) with pesto sauce, truffle cheese, sausage, mushrooms, green bell peppers, and red onions pizza $31. Order was ready within 30 mins. Their crust is unique in that it is sourdough based. Both round or square crusts were excellent. Can't go wrong with either. Toppings were quality and just the right amount. Couldn't taste much of the truffle cheese though
It's pretty much a takeout spot. There's no indoor seating and only 2 small tables with 2 chairs each outside, and a long bench nearby (shared with rest of other businesses). Plenty of parking in the large plaza

Best pizza I've ever had. They make their pizzas with sourdough crust and it makes the shop smell sooo good. My favorite thing to get here is a Capulet with pepperoni on it.
