What a find! I had been trying a number of pizza places in town (after Papa Murphy's closed) and found some good pies, but nothing that was a keeper. I found my keeper. Ordered the Titania's Bounty and was delighted with the balance of cooked and fresh ingredients. The dough is unique and delicious. The owners are engaging and all so pleasant. They have earned my repeat business.

You have to try this pizza....and I bet you will come back! I ordered a pepperoni pizza for $25. A little sticker shock at first but once I saw and ate the pizza I would pay $30! Great crust! Quality ingredients and plenty of pepperoni, too.

These guys are crushing it. The crust is soft and chewy; well fermented and flavorful. The sauce is rich and bright. Wow. Keep it up!

Tried to call 4 times and no answer so drive there and they aren’t answering the phone. (Watched the phone ring and person standing around didn’t pick it up) and 1 hour for pickup. Called down the street and it’s only a 25 minute wait so getting that. On the way out the door they said they will get us next time, unfortunately you won’t Great pizza, just too hard to order.

Best pizza I have eaten outside my own home. Owners are polite, welcoming, helpful during selection, and very friendly. It is a "must visit place in town". Thank you Zabrowski family.

I'll leave a 4 star review now because I'm assuming when I do try the pizza it will be great. This is more to leave the owners a helpful note... Your mobile website utilization is very frustrating. Looking over your pizza offerings you get 3 line of description, three dots, and seemingly no way to see the entire description. Help! Pizzas look great! Thank you for your attention.

Fantastic, fresh pizza! Owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable about pizza/sourdough crust which they make fresh. We called our order in early and glad we did because once they are out of dough, they don't make any more pizza for the day so you know it's fresh! We ordered the Portia's Pesto - it was very fresh and light tasting. We did half with chicken and bacon and the other half vegetarian style. Mark on the phone was super accommodating to making those requests to a speciality pizza. Also ordered 3 dipping sauces: signature sauce (complexity I wasn't expecting in a basic tomato pizza sauce - it's not basic!), hot honey (wish it was spicier), and white garlic (very good!!). Look forward to ordering a pizza in the future with their signature sauce because it was excellent! If you're not a crust person (I'm not) - you will eat all of this crust! It's so fluffy on the inside with the perfect crunchy exterior. Mainly a take out place, few chairs inside to wait for your order but no in house dining set up. Decorated with all things Shakespeare. Next time need to try their famous Bard Bread!

My micro biome appreciates your dough! Thank you for your thoughtfulness around food and health as well as taste. Very much enjoyed the pizza.. went sans cheese due to lactose intolerance and was still delicious! Will be back time and time again!

Bottom Line Up Front: The Pizza at this "mom and pop" pizza joint is absolutely delicious. Period. But that's not all. The couple that owns and runs the place (cooks the pizza, makes the dough, all of the work) are delightful people that make you proud to know that you are supporting their business. When I arrived, there was a little girl finishing a drawing that she wanted to put up on the wall. The best I can describe it is that they treated her with the level of love and respect that we all hope are children are treated. If there are other good things that can be said about this place and these people, let's stipulate that I agree with them wholeheartedly.

Amazing sourdough pizza made by the owners nightly. Best pizza in Pleasanton (we have tried them all).

Great local pizzeria. They do a single size of pizza, which is about 14 inches and serves 2-3 people. I came with one other person and getting the stuffed bread and one pizza was just about perfect. They have some limited seating inside but I highly recommend chatting with the owners! They are super sweet. Their son drew the super cute logo as well. Amazing local spot.

Bite after bite, Much Ado About Pizza, is an explosion of flavor. We ask that the edge be rolled-out more, as we prefer less edge on the crust, and we are always graciously accommodated. Hubby loves pizza...if there are leftovers they quickly reheat in the oven and he says pizza reheats well, remaining delicious. Our favorite is the Montague but other flavors we've tried are also scrumptious. The Family that operates this business is lovely and genuinely open to feed-back. Pleasanton is fortunate to have Much Ado About Pizza a part of its community and it is our hope for a long time.

Seeing the great reviews I decided to give this place a try. I got the cheese pizza and garlic bread. Overall I didn't think the pizza was that great..and had way too much cheese on it. Nobody in my family particularly liked the pizza either. I'd give a three star rating for the food itself, but a bonus one star because the two owners are very friendly.
