I ordered a 6” fresh strawberry and whipping creme cake for 10/31/25 at 230p This is our favorite go to cake. We order at least twice a year for the last 20 years. The last order wes 2/72025. This one was for our 48th wedding anniversary. I asked for simple writing; J&J - 48 in brown writing and a splash of red iss a rose or other. Check out the pictures. The writing is horrible. The design not centered. I told the counter manager about everything. He just looked at it and said the lady that does the writing iS NOT very good! I told him she should not have that responsibility. I then said that he should have checked it before presenting it to me. I told him it was very tacky and unlike I’ve seen in 20 years. He acted as though he didn’t hear or understand. He didn’t even offer to have the writing re done. He just kept preparing the box to put the cake in. I was disappointed, but accepted that messy finish. I was hopeful to see/taste the goodness I am accustomed to when I cut the cake later. At the door, I told him I will be writing a review. He motions Yes? I said No! He motions NO,? I said YES! He shrugged a little and walked towards the work room as I left the shop. The cake was very good and I was happy, but for $80, I expected to enjoy uninterrupted cake. Instead , as you can see, this hard stuff looked and felt like an invisalign retainer.
Most disappointing is the hard inedible ring around the strawberries. It totally ruined the enjoyment of eating a whipping cream cake to stop, pick out this hard substance, trying to figure out where the whipping cream began and ended.
I felt the counter manager was not concerned with my satisfaction, thus didn’t offer a solution. That said, I did not phone Noland back to get an understanding of what had happened. Instead, I had to cut up my cake into smaller pieces to avoid the inedible sections. I hope Nolands does better if I ever decide to return and reorder. Let the buyer beware!😟😫 JHill

Ordered a special cake that I customized for my partners bday and he absolutely loved it! The taste was spectacular (we got banana flavor and wow it was so good! The design we chose a statue 2D cake and we got a better cake than we imagined! Thanks Noland! 🎂

I had an appointment at the tailor above Noland's this morning. After my appointment I stopped by and got the strawberry shortcake cupcake and the pink champagne cupcake. When I got home my husband and I split the strawberry cupcake and it's the best desert I've eaten in awhile. Love the whipped topping icing. The strawberry jam was flavorful. The cake was delicious. I have 1 more appointment at the tailor and am already planning on getting more cupcakes (which are giant btw). I wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time but I live an hour away in SF.

Noland’s did it again! The music-themed graduation cake this year came out even more incredible than I could have imagined! I so appreciated their time with me coming up with a design that would be best… and their creativity and ability is amazing! The white cake with raspberry cream filling was delicious too!

I am speechless with the outcome and the taste of the cake. The cake was perfect! The taste was amazing! I must say I was nervous as this was my 1st time and a big request. But baby! They delivered. You have just gained a new customer for life! I will see you all in January.
I hate to write negative reviews but the first time I used this place for an important birthday cake, the design was amazing but the cake crumbled when you cut into it because of a ganache filling that THEY recommended. So I was given partial credit towards a future order- which I just redeemed for my father’s 90th Birthday party cake I spoke to the owner and we texted back and forth several times so she had the details we were looking for. On the day of the party the cake arrived with no writing / not even Happy Birthday on top and the design we had agreed to for the image was stuck to the front side of the cake like a belt buckle. When I called the owner did not apologize but merely said she didn’t know how she could have missed it!! Then she offered to bring a cake topper over but by then it was too late. The party had started. Additionally I asked for mocha filling and what I got was not that. Hardly anyone ate the cake. When I complained there was no remorse at all . Very disappointed and never again.

when we got there they lost our order and we had to wait 20 minutes for a cake that should’ve been ready, the cake was supposed to say “birthday girl” and they put “girl birthday” probably in a rush to finish the cake. the cake didn’t even hold for a day in the fridge, and the taste was mediocre for a $90 cake.
