I absolutely love this restaurant. It is a very Pleasanton, but exceptionally tasty place to have a meal. In the past I've enjoyed the salmon pasta and they cook everything to perfection. It is on the main strip in Pleasanton and you can't go wrong eating here whether you are on a date or dining with your family.

The house-smoked salmon on the Thor's plate is great: mild and smooth as butter. A rich and flavorful mushroom ravioli, and a light barley risotto in acorn squash. House-made aquavit is not to be missed.

I met 2 friends here for lunch. The staff was courteous and we were able to take our time ordering drinks and food. We didn't feel rushed at all. I had the curried egg salad sandwich which was delicious. The owner even came by to check on our meal. If you're looking for a pleasant restaurant with excellent food, I would highly recommend Nonni's.

Came here with my family for brunch outdoors, and the service was very good. Pancakes were a little stale but with syrup and orange were delicious, but she omelet was very good.

I went in not knowing anything about the food or place. I just was trying a new idea place. I was greeted right away and was given great service. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I never had to ask for a drink refill. The food was great and came out in a very timely manner. I would recommend this place to eat to anyone. I went in for lunch but the dinner menu looked great as well. I will be going back to try the dinner.

We go to Nonni's Bistro often because being there is an enjoyable experience, a great place to meet with family and friends for any occasion or just being there on your own. We have found at Nonni's attentive service, delicious food, and pleasant ambience. Our last visit was on Valentine's Day, a dinner hosted by Chef Jon, whom with his staff made the evening very special. We chose from the Valentine menu the Petit Filet Mignon dinner that was superb and enjoyed a new starter Cappuccino of Mushrooms. Being at Nonni's feels like you are in a Bistro in Paris.

AWESOME. On Valentine's Day (and my birthday), we were greeted and seated immediately. My husband ordered the Salmon and I had the Duck. UM UM from both of us as we tasted our entrees. The Mt. Hekla Lava Cake with Gelato was a perfect ending to a well served, unrushed evening. Chef Jon came by and chatted with us about his experiences in Iceland when we told him we had visited there twice. On our departure, we were given an extra takeaway box with chocolate dipped strawberries inside. AWESOME...

He just kept saying Nonni's Bistro, he must have said it 20 times! So I finally gave in and said "Where would you like to eat?" "Maybe....Nonni's Bistro"We were at the Fairgrounds all day setting up for the West Coast's biggest Kimblecot Koomyaldler Tournament Saturday where my old pal Heckler Pididium will attempt his third straight title. I thought I'd celebrate early and take the little hoodlum out for dinner, and I guess we'll go to Nonni's Bistro, because Heckler says it's the best Italian food in the bay area! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

So the thing that keeps this place from four stars is the French onion soup. Just not great. The Thor though. Yes, the Thor. It was my first time trying so many different flavors and I loved it. I also really had a great salad with salmon on it. The flavor was delicious. Definitely worth visiting.

Everything was fine except of the two restrooms, one was locked and the other had a loose toilet seat with one bolt/hinge completely missing. I mentioned it to our waiter and he acknowledged he knew about it. - - That's unacceptable neglect for us.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The wait staff is friendly and courteous. The food is so tasty and the drinks are amazing. Truly worth a visit if you are in town.

I had high expectations based on the reviews but I didn’t really enjoy brunch at all..I might just have high expectations. My mom and I both ordered eggs Benedict and there was nothing special about it. It might just be a good spot for dinner instead.
