Fabulous!
Not only was the food delicious the owner actually took a significant amount of time to sit and talk with me about the menu!
I ended up pairing it with my OH SKUNT pepper sauce I brought pictured with my dishes.

We visited Oyo on Father’s Day and had a mixed experience. The service was friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated, especially on a busy holiday. However, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations.

While we could tell the flavors had great potential, a couple of the dishes were unfortunately overcooked and slightly burnt with bitter taste — most notably the half chicken and the octopus salad. This took away from what could have been a very...

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but...
The calamari was under cooked.
The jerk chicken, although flavorful, was dry like it reheated from the previous day or left in the oven for hours.
One of the hostess was like the chicken, dry and maybe left over from the previous day.
Plantains were awesome and the drinks too.
I'm sure I'll go back just to see if it gets any better.
