Dinner was excellent. A bit too “fast” but excellent. Just not used to a restaurant pumping out the orders so quickly post Covid so my only negative would be that I would have slowed down a tad, given how quickly I ordered. From the bread to the appetizers to the main courses, excellent. And a bit funny, I lived in Pleasanton for 20 years and never tried Pastas. I had my favorites in town back then and didn't stray off my routine. Clearly I missed a great restaurant!...
We had a very nice lunch here. The location is prime in the View's out. The window were cute against the historic building of Pleasanton. A server was very prompt and knowledgeable, he was able to describe the menu very well and make some choice recommendations The food was very good and extremely well portioned. We enjoyed that it was cooked well, including gluten-free pasta, which was not overcooked, which can be very difficult. We will be returning
We had friends from out of town meet up at Pastas for lunch because of the varied menu. No one was disappointed as we all chose a different item. Our friends must have enjoyed their meals and asked to come back to try the dinner menu .
