Disappointed with Overly Sweet Custom Birthday Cake
We’ve been loyal customers of this bakery for years. However, we were really disappointed with our recent custom birthday cake order.
The cake was overly sweet—so much so that it reminded us of store-bought cakes from Costco or Walmart, which is not what we expect from a specialty bakery. The flavors were overwhelmed by the sugar, and the texture also felt a bit off—more mass-produced than handcrafted.
We’ve always chosen your cakes because they stood out for their balanced taste and quality, but this one missed the mark. We hope this was just a one-off issue, but it did affect our celebration and left us quite dissatisfied.
We’d appreciate more consistency in the future, especially for custom orders.

I was very impressed by the selection of gluten-free items at this bakery. They are gluten friendly so if you have celiac, I would ask before purchasing! I tried cookies, bars and cake just to give it all a shot and everything was a great sweet treat. I was also impressed about the hours as it’s very hard to find dessert. That is an ice cream that is open till 10 PM!

I never ever leave reviews but this marvelous gem needs some serious consideration!! The cakes are just next level amazing! Love love love their fruit cakes but if you’re a true blue chocolate lover this place is heaven for you!! The chocolate cakes are decadent moist and chocolatey!!! I cannot recommend them enough! Please give this little gem a try and appreciate this small business! P.S- I wish it were a tad bit reasonable so I could come here often!
