Gorgeous winery, easy to get too with Spectacular wines. The Petite Syrah is off the hook. Amy was so very helpful.
Such a wonderful place — everything was perfect from start to finish.
Membership is the way to go however they have wine tasting and tours.
Love Diane such a sweet soul. Very helpful and kind. Explained everything to me and it made me want to become a member so I did.
Nice winery in livermore
Had a blast because I was with great company but service left a lot to be desired. Host kept repeating that other customers had paid for seats (when payment was only required for parties over 10, we came with 9). Seating seemed like an issue despite the venue not being filled yet. We spilled wine and the host forgot to come clean it. Once we were finally allowed to sit comfortably it was time to order. When we ordered our wine I was expecting to learn about the wines from the sommelier. Nothing I learned nothing about the wine. She was basically a server at that point. A lot of the girls had never been wine tasting and they didn’t get the full experience. When we placed the order for the second flight we were reminded that it wasn’t complimentary…which was a completely unnecessary micro aggression. Also our server was mocking other clients at the venue. I didn’t find that funny or respectful at all. We asked her for water and she never came back with it. The guys picking up our empty glasses were truly the only nice, helpful people at the winery. Had it not been my girlfriend’s birthday I would not have stayed. I don’t recommend specially if you’re a lover of wine. I learned nothing about these wines. She didn’t even speak to us about the membership or anything
While kid friendly, there’s no changing table in the restroom, which is extremely disappointing as there is plenty of space for it. It seems disingenuous to allow kids and then not have the proper facilities for parents to care for their kids while there. It makes for a more stressful experience and takes away from the enjoyment.
Other than that, the staff were friendly and wonderful, the wine was tasty, and the atmosphere very relaxing!
Unfortunately not sure if we’ll be back though until a changing table is added….
I absolutely love the Red Zin! One of the best dry reds I've ever sampled. Intoxicating bouquet, full-bodied, silky smooth on the pallete. Fruit-forward. A treasure.
Great winery. Wines were wonderful. Did a red flight. Beautiful and enjoyable experience.
Great ambiance. Great wine. Great staff. What more can anyone ask for

We had a great time here. Staff was top notch! A special thanks to John S for his expertise! It was wonderful!
The wine is great, the atmosphere is perfect and the staff is fantastic. Thank you Tore for your help and knowledge.
Love this winery, the staff, the decor, can’t go wrong.
I have always loved going to Ruby Hill winery and a fan of their service except it appears that lately they are biased towards customers who immediately start purchasing bottles right after the last wine is poured for the tasting. Their sales quality has dropped significantly. It’s like car salesman ship. Our server was Susan, who had no time for us. Dropped off the tower on our table and immediately ran off to the extremely loud and boisterous table next to us. That table had atleast 7 people having a great time but so loud that the 3 of us had to pull our chairs to hear each other. However, since this table was probably buying wines we could see Susan happily hanging out wit them and catering to their needs.whenever she stopped at ours her question was are yo ready to buy a bottle. I am sorry, I don’t want to be rushed and wanted to try a splash of the petite Syrah. Which she brought to us begrudgingly. After that she didn’t stop by for a while and another gentleman who had also served us the barrel tasting during a members event , had stopped by to ask if we needed anything. We asked again for a splash of the Intessa and the curve grey, I think. He was totally fine with that give that we were polite and with a member. However, Susan in all her wisdom
Advised him not to serve us the two and CUT US OFF at 2 pours over the tasting as apparently they didn’t want the liability of drunk drivers . We didn’t want to make a scene there as this was preposterous on so many levels. First she kept giving bottle after bottle to the other table were people were totally drunk and were now drinking o straight out of the bottles and at one point one of them even know Dover a bottle. But Susan was all to please to sever them as they were buying bottles from her. it would have completely ok if she said look you need to buy a bottle after 2 extra porings but to go and insinuate that we need to be cut off when we were completely sober and nothing about us suggested we were drunk is completely wrong. my friend who is a member and the other two of us who wanted to become members were so put off by this insinuation and bias, our evening was ruined by that one statement. We all have so many membership across the Livermore valley and even within Ruby hill. But we have never experience this kind of blatant discrimination. Next time we will be sure to make an official complaint about this at the winery and not keep quiet about it. Not to mention we will spread the word out about the deteriorating service at Ruby over the years. It’s embarrassing that my friend is a current member and that my own brother was married at Casa Real only a few years ago..not returning anytime soon until we hear the service is better.
Very nice place with excellent service and tasting
