This restaurant has integrity. Staff made a mistake (they are human after all), they quickly acknowledged, apologized and took action to correct the mistake. I am one happy customer.
Oh, food is amazing too. Store is usually busy so come early.
food very good
Better than Din Tai Fung
I was looking for a spot to eat at in Pleasanton at night.
I found this delicious place
I went in there and it was pretty empty literally only One other party next to me. The food is ordered through a tablet and it’s really delicious and the food came out really fast. I got the chow mein, which was great combination style, obviously and some red oil Wontons and those were awesome. I would definitely recommend the wontons
Only one thing I Didn’t like was there was no refills on sodas And the soda was $3.50 for the can.
Other than that Lit
Decided to try this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! Despite the Google rating, the food was terrific and service was quick and friendly. Recommend trying one of the specialty noodle dishes if you’re in the area!
Excellent all around today as we visited
after a day of wandering and buying stuff across the street at the outlets. If you are looking for a very authentic Chinese noodle restaurant experience, this one passes with flying colors according to my guest from Shanghai, and from my personal experience (lived in Shanghai for many years). The noodles were served quickly, the texture and type were exactly as one would get in a restaurant in Shanghai. We
Got both a spicy and non spicy beef noodle soup that were perfect and as we expected. Server was polite and helpful (in Chinese). Chef and kitchen staff who were taking turns taking their lunch break made sure our food got to us quickly and piping hot!! Overall a fantastic meal!
Food and service are good. They do have a lot of options. A little pricey. My favorite is the intestine, kidney, and liver dish.
Delicious noodle, I love it
Food is decent to pretty good, worth to explore if ur in the area. We ordered Spicy beef noodle soup, pigsfeet and their signature snowflake panfried dumplings. It's alot of food for 2. Our fav is the panfried dumpling, ooozing with juice with every bite while 'snowflake' remained crispy throughout entire meal, would recommend. 2nd fav was spicy beef noodle soup simply becuz my friend liked it alot. The portion for pigsfeet was big and definitely a take home eat for few meals kind of a dish. Its not for everyone. Price wise its on higher side but again nothing is cheap these days. Service was friendly, place not packed for 12:30 lunch on a weekday.
Plenty parking in lot, especially during weekdays.
The quality of the food here is outstanding. The portions are tiny though, so you really have to order a few extra dishes to get enough food. And we are light eaters! Their 韭菜盒子 for example are about half the size of other restaurants, but very delicious. If you are willing to pay a lot for great quality, but only get a little, this place is for you
Here is treally good for the Chinese food

I saw Special Noodle show up on my restaurant search many times when I was in the San Francisco Bay Area. But this is the first time tried them out on my lunch at their Pleasanton location.
The dining room looks a little bit tight between the tables. This was the first feeling when I walked into the restaurant. However, I received a nice greeting and was seated right away. The customer service is excellent. The best is their yummy dishes are also excellent! I enjoyed my delicious lunch. I have one more place for lunch now when I'm in the area.
I can’t rave about this place enough! The food is amazing and super fresh! They give you an iPad with the menu, you chose your items and place your order. The food comes out really quick and uggghhhh soo good! The kung pao was the perfect mix of spicy and crunchy, the sticky ribs were tender and flavorful, the pan fried dumplings were the best I’ve ever had and the chow mein was perfectly greasy and chewy without being mushy. The staff isn’t very friendly but they are prompt with service and more than helpful with menu questions. I thought it was just a dumpling spot but was pleasantly surprised to see all the menu items. So so good! It is on the menu expensive side but it’s worth it
Nice place good food. I liked the spicy pork noodle soup.
Special Noodles delivers a satisfying mix of flavors! 🍜 Their Guo Bao Rou is wonderfully authentic—crispy, tangy, and bursting with traditional taste. 🥢🍖 The Kung Pao Chicken, while tasty, leans more toward American-Chinese style, which might not suit purists. 🐓 On the other hand, the dumplings are a standout—perfectly crafted and full of flavor. 🥟 Overall, a great spot for hearty Chinese comfort food! 🌟
The food is absolutely fantastic, pork belly thick and melts in your mouth, different broths are all amazing, atmosphere is very appealing
