I am giving 5 stars for the service and food, chef and his team were EXCELLENT and COURTEOUS.I am giving ZERO star to the owner cuz he/she keeps the tip. I wasted $15 in tip that will not go to the server. Unethical business practice. Tip is not for the owner. It’s for the hard working servers, they are the reason why you are successful.

Quality of food was great, and everything including chutneys seemed to be freshly prepared.I recollect the quality had taken a dip after they reopened after the pandemic, when they lost their original cooks.But, this time, everything tasted authentic, and the service was swift and courteous. They came a few times to see if we liked the food, and offered free refills for Sambar , Chutneys etc.Ambience was great, well lit, tastefully decorated, clean washrooms etc.We had been going to Mylapore over the past months, to follow the craze and hype...Every-time waiting for 45 minutes to be assigned a cramped table, and offered a limited range of menus, and servers not caring to have any feedback whatsoever..However, decided not to go with the confirmation bias this time.. and came here instead..And glad that we did, and will be coming here more often.
