Great place to eat fresh sushi
Water tasted like cleaning chemicals, miso was lukewarm and fishy, veggie tempura was okay some of the root vegetables were undercooked but the batter was nice, salmon nigiri was tough to bite through and just not very pleasant to chew, albacore was stringy and so fishy and I had to spit it out, the nigiri rice fell apart when I picked up each piece. Staff was very kind but food has me not wanting to come back.

Absolutely amazing sushi! Every roll was filled with flavor. Patricia was our waitress and she was phenomenal, just so nice. One of best sushi places I’ve ever been too

Excellent food and wonderful service. It’s a regular spot for us.
Local gem, easily one of the best sushi places in the Dublin-Pleasanton-Livermore area. Excellent quality, great portion sizes on things like hamachi kama, they're great both to-go and dining in.
I do recommend eating in because the menu is a little larger, some (very seasonal or shorter shelf-life) dishes are only available if you order in the shop vs through an app or the phone.

Loud wide open dinning. Dined in for sushi once and also yakitori take out. Excellent sushi, bland miso(?) Take out yakitori was previously cooked and definitely reheated also very dry and disappointing.
Great service, and outstanding sushi. The uncle rock roll is a winner. Fish is always fresh. Top value.
Wayne's is a classic strip mall sushi joint that always delivers excellent food. They have a very large variety of items that you don't typically see at other sushi restaurants. You can tell someone there is working really hard at sourcing fish.
Our favorite sushi place in the Tri-Valley!
Restaurantji Recommends
We found this place while looking for a new sushi spot and we were not disappointed. It’s a small restaurant but the staff is so friendly and welcoming. It was our first time and although their English wasn’t very good they did their best to recommend some rolls and tell us the special. The rolls are huge and so are the sashimi pieces. All the fish was super fresh and they came out relatively quick but didn’t feel like they were made in a rush. Bathroom was clean and overall it was a pleasant experience. For sure our new sushi spot…oh and you get complimentary edamame when you dine in!
Fresh sashimi. Great find in a neighborhood plaza. Toro is sweet.
The sushi is always fresh.
Food is good but to go service is awful, they always hang up before you even have finished your order, and they always answer the phone with a bad attitude.
Excellent food, great enviroment and awesome friendly service. This is a good stop for good food.
