I cannot say enough about our experience at this winery. The wine, the food, and the staff were amazing. I highly recommend their charcuterie boards. We were given a small tour of their expansion to the tasting room areas which were beautiful.

Casino Mine Ranch is truly a hidden gem. Their wines are consistently excellent across the board — from the crisp, refreshing whites (the Vermentino is my personal favorite) to the beautifully balanced Reserve Rosé that’s perfect on a warm summer day, and of course, the incredible reds that pair just as well with a meal as they do enjoyed on their own. The Simone and Grenache Noir are standouts and have quickly become my go-tos.
Beyond the wine, the experience of visiting is equally special. The winery sits on stunning grounds with sweeping views that make you want to linger, and the tasting room strikes the perfect balance of modern design and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a casual wine drinker or a true enthusiast, Casino Mine Ranch is absolutely worth the visit.

A Perfect Day in Amador Wine Country! My husband and I visited Casino Mine Ranch in Plymouth, California while up from Nevada, and we couldn’t have had a better time! The property is stunning, the wines are outstanding, and the hospitality made us feel right at home. It’s truly a gem in the heart of Amador Wine Country. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy more of this beautiful corner of California.

First of all I want to say I love the wine! There were 4 of us & I asked if we could bring our own snacks in & they said no! They said they had charcuterie items in a cooler! We picked out a few items & they arranged it on a wood board! We also ordered 1 bottle of wine! The total was $123! We couldn’t believe it was that much! We asked the girl to break down how much just the charcuterie board was & she said $88 just for the board! That was outrageous! They told us that we could wave 1 wine tasting if we purchase 2 bottles of wine totaling over $50! I couldn’t believe we had just spent $88 on a charcuterie board & couldn’t wave the other tasting! I will never buy any food from them again & will make sure I eat before I get there!

Sean/shawn was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and detailed oriented. He took great care of us, going above and beyond expectations!! The wines are full of flavor and delicious. The tasting room has an amazing space to experience.
This review is no knock on the staff or setting of Casino Mine, both were great. The wines however didn't measure up for our palate's across the board. The setting is tough to beat and they do have DIY charcuterie for purchase which was great. Service was prompt and friendly. We come to Amador County once a year or so to get our CA wine fix and were disappointed the wine here didn't impress. May be back next year to try again! Oh, and keep an eye on your charcuterie when Jacques (the winery dog) comes around, LOL. We love Jacques!
