“I love this place! Was recommended by a friend and so glad we spent an afternoon here eating amazing food and drinking amazing wine! And enjoying great conversation! The owners, Rachel and Chris, definitely are major food and wine experts- very knowledgeable! This is definitely a must visit when in the area and we will definitely be back!! I love Plymouth and this is in my top five places to go!”
“My family likes donuts, but often donuts don't taste like they're supposed to.You know what I mean, when we bite into a maple bar, apple fritter, or jelly donut, we expect it to have a certain taste, lots of shops don't make donuts taste right, but Donut Street faithfully gives us that trusted taste.”
“It just so happened I was interested in doing the Girl Scout pairing and I thought this was a different winery. I am glad I did ...we were told to have a seat and someone would be with us soon. I assumed it would take a while, but to my surprise a sweet girl name Migali I think that's her name ...greeted us right away with the pairings of Girl Scout cookies and wine she then explained every wine. A few moments later someone brought us some olive oil tasting with tiny bits of bread. They were sooooo good. I purchased the blackberry balsamic. Migali gave us a tour of the cave on the grounds where they have special dinners and events. It was a pretty good way to start our wine day!”
“Visited this place yesterday while driving around the area and looking for wineries that were open during holiday Christmas week. Found this one and the place had some good wines. Good sparking wines as well and in a very quiet and nice atmosphere. The ambiance was nice and really quiet during the time we went so that was cool. The people were friendly and very welcoming and enjoyed this hospitality! Will definitely be back.”
“This was a cute vineyard my family and I visited yesterday. They have a complimentary flight which I tried which had a white, orange muscat, sangoivese, another red (I cannot remember), and port to finish it off. They all tried out the delicious selections of ports that deaver sold. We did our tastings inside the gift shop where they also sold cute napkins, spreads, and water bottles. The service was quick and I even got to try some extra tastings like the almond champagne in addition to my complimentary tastings. I will definitely come back to try the port tastings next time since everyone in my family seemed to enjoy them all!”
“We visit Dobra every time we come to Plymouth. Wine is stronger than most but it is really good. Kristi always remembers us and she is always just so much fun to talk to. The grounds are big and pretty and you do your tasting in the cave which is always nice and cool. If you have never been, I totally recommend trying Dobra.”
“The wine continues to be one of the best and the best of the best was their Barbera and their GSM. Janet was an awesome host but Babs needs some customer service training.”
“Fabulous white and red wines at surprisingly reasonable prices! The staff is enthusiastic, entertaining and attentive. Bring a picnic and enjoy the gorgeous vineyard views from the hilltop. You will be grateful you turned into 12300 Steiner Road.”
“My mom and I came on a Sunday in January. It was pretty empty when we arrived since there was a football game going on and the weather was a little gloomy; however, we had an absolutely wonderful time!I had actually discovered Di Stasio at a community event at the clubhouse in my neighborhood and have been dying to visit their tasting room since then. It was easy to find their tasting room and there was plenty of parking. The vineyards were beautiful even in January and the tasting room was so cute. We were greeted by Lindsey who helped guide us through our tasting. My mom and I both decided to try the all red wine tasting menu and were not disappointed. Everything we tried was so good with my favorite being the petite sirah. Lindsey educated us on the history of the vineyards and Di Stasio as well as each wine that we tasted. We had a great time!I will definitely be back with my hubby!”
“We had a great time. Love the atmosphere, view and facility. Lots of activities for all ages. Ping pong, bocce, connect four, darts and much more. A great place to stop if you take Latrobe toward (or when returning from) Plymouth, Sutter' Creek or Jackson.”
“Worth the drive, if for nothing else than the greeting from "T," the Labradoodle mascot. Like a lot of wineries here, they're happy to do 2-4,000 cases well than be something they're not. Great service and not a bad wine tasted.”
“As in the past, excellent 5 star dining. Presentation perfect, portions perfect. Service perfect. A bit noisy. We dined there 4-5 years ago and everything was exactly as we remembered. It's prix fixe and pricy but worth it.”
“We had the best time here--small, quaint indoors, and beautiful outdoor seating. We did the cheese and wine pairing. Anna was there to help guide us through the tasting and was extremely thorough and attentive. I couldn't recommend this place more. We were advised about all the close restaurants and wineries we'd have to visit while we were there. The Sangiovese was a stand-out for a light but delicious wine and we couldn't leave without buying a bottle of port. I wish I had room to also bring home cheese but we didn't have a cooler that would sustain the weekend trip. If you get a chance, try the cumin cheese. Did you know blue cheese is outstanding with their port? Now you know.”
“Visited this winery while looking around to see what was open during the holiday Christmas week and came open this winery. The customer service provided by the gentleman was great! He was knowledgeable and really knew the wines and parings well. The wines we tried were ok and just not what we were looking for and maybe they would work best for someone else. What was excellent was the cheeses they paired with the wines. The cheeses were amazing!! The Holy cow cheese had great flavor and the expresso flavored cheese was fantastic. Very creative cheese flavors and you can tell they are doing cool things to pair with their wines. Again, I would recommend this place for their cheeses. Their wines were just not what we were looking for but would visit for the cheese again. The ambiance was a small winery with knowledgeable staff and great cheeses!”
“I have to say the people are right! These guys, Mac ,was top notch on informing us on there wines! I came here for Doggie Diner head, LOL But there wines are good! The winery is pet and children friendly.”
