We were recommended this tasting room by a friend at TDO, which is closing. Tom the wine maker was in the tasting room. Him and his were very cordial. Nice tasting room and even a tent outside. We arrived 30 mins before they closed, but said it was no problem. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back in October and probably join their club.
They are consistently the best wines around. We have always enjoyed their wine selection throughout the year .
Worth the drive, if for nothing else than the greeting from "T," the Labradoodle mascot. Like a lot of wineries here, they're happy to do 2-4,000 cases well than be something they're not. Great service and not a bad wine tasted.
We used to live in Sacramento and would go to Amador frequently for wine tastings. Dillian is in my list of top 3 wineries in that area. I really wish they shipped to Texas!
We have been members of this wine club for years. They consistently make great wines. Some years are better than others but we always are pleased with the breadth and quality each year. As we have aged, we have tapered off our wine purchasing, but this is the only club to which it is worth belonging.
Great winery in the Sierra Foothills. Very friendly and fun staff.
Great winery in the Sierra Foothills. Very friendly and fun staff.
Nice, small winery, but sorry the wines poured were lacking personality, & flavor. Was really hoping for something better. This multi generational farm is missing the mark on a big memorable Zin. which this area is k own for. Sorry this place is a drive by on the way to the next winery to.be visited
This winery is one in Semillon! Great wine and staff!
I am fairly new to wine tasting, but out of the 15+ wineries I have visited this is hands down the best. I enjoyed it so much, that we had to make a weekend trip back to this area just to visit again. We were fortunate to have the same server, Misty, both visits. They have amazing customer service, and even better wine! We will definitely be coming back again! ????

Small winery and tasting room but over the top wines.
Friend and I went to Dillian's on a Friday afternoon. We are fans of their wines from a local wine bar that we frequent. The service was very good and the wines are very high quality, especially the Italian varietals. We'll be back.
The Primitivo is definitely one of my favorites in all of Shenandoah Valley. I'm not much of a fan of Barbera in general, but Dillian Barbera is great and not overwhelming with acidity. Oh, and the Sauvignon is another favorite when when you are looking for a light, crisp, refreshing white wine.???
My husband, brother, and I had a wonderful experience wine tasting at Dillion! Dillion was highly recommended by a good family member and friend, so we knew we needed to try their wine while visiting Amador County. We called ahead to make a reservation and were seated outside at a personal table when we arrived. We sampled 8 different wines total and were particularly impressed with the Barbera and Semillion, which we of course had to buy some bottles of to take home. The ladies working at Dillion were all so kind and attentive during our wine tasting. While this winery didn’t have that “wow factor” view that others in the area did, we really appreciated the intimate vibe at Dillion and the outstanding service. I highly recommend checking out Dillion on your next wine trip to Amador County! We will surely be back in the future. ????
Very smooth finish with their wine
