Franny is probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met! We got married on Sept. 28 in Gualala and knew exactly who we were going to work with for our wedding cake. Our niece actually works at Franny’s so it was a no brainer for us. But even though Franny is a good friend, she is a fantastic baker! We told her we wanted something tropical for our theme and gushed at the idea of a key-lime and piña colada cake (2 tiers). Franny had great ideas and knew exactly what to do with our vision. She even suggested decorating the cake with a little half coconut! We gave her flowers the day before and she used them to make the cake gorgeous!
The cake was delicious and had a very light flavor. We didn’t want it to be super heavy as the day was actually quite warm, so having a light and refreshing cake was perfect. Franny was so easy to work with and communicated well about our desires and logistics, such as getting the cake to our venue at the specified time and letting us borrow (for a deposit) some cake supplies (cake stand). It really took a lot of stress off of us and we’re so happy we chose Franny to make our day so sweet!

Franny made our wedding cake and she totally knocked it out of the park! The cake was both beautiful and delicious, and Franny was wonderful to work with (very responsive and easy to communicate with) in addition to generally being a delightful person. We look forward to celebrating birthdays and other special events with her cakes in the future. Thank you Franny!
Franny is magical. Since the first moment I spoke to her on the phone I knew she was incredible! She is so unbelievably kind and positive. And then on top of that, she is the most incredibly talented baker! She made the most delicious wedding cake and an exquisite dessert table full of treats that tasted out of this world. My wedding was special because Franny had a hand in it. I am so grateful she was part of my special day. I can’t recommend her enough - It will be hard for me to have any baked goods made by anyone else!

Franny made us a gorgeous cake for our small wedding at the Sea Ranch. The cake tasted as amazing as it looked and was everything we hoped for. Prior to the wedding we visited Franny's for a cake tasting and every flavor was delicious and creative. We loved the whole experience of working with Franny to design our dream cake. Can't wait to return next time we are in Point Arena to try some of the other baked goods - everything looked amazing!

I went to Franny's for the first, but definitely not last time. It's a cozy shop, with unique non-food items for sale. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The prices were reasonable for fresh bajed goods. But the best.... the food. There are both sweet and savory treats for sale here. I tried cookies and a savory pastry and they were both delicious. But the best to me were the macarons. She has some unusual flavors and the texture was perfect. I have never had macarons this good before. Thank you, Franny and staff. I hope to see you again soon.
