We ordered the chili relleno, cheese enchiladas, and a birria taco, and unfortunately they all tasted almost the same with the strongest cinnamon taste I have ever experienced. The picture of the chili relleno showed a light colored tomato sauce, but the sauce we got on all 3 items were dark brown, probably from the cinnamon. The lard they use was very pungent as well, which made the rice & beans taste a bit off. Very disappointing meal.

Visited the area and decided to buy food from here. I’m looking at a online menu prices were much different when ordering at the restaurant. Were priced higher. Didn’t question them. Asked for guacamole charged $7.00 for a small container and a $1.00 a piece for containers for a to go order. However, you do get quite a bit of food for the money charged. Only thing I questioned after we left, was the pico de Gallo … didn’t receive that, it was more like a salad diced tomatoes and salad, definitely missing ingredients so, that was disappointing. I had ordered the chicken Quesadilla. There were only two people eating at the restaurant. It’s a small town so not too surprised. Just something I noted to my party. All in all not too shabby.

The food was good and authentic. Poor waitress had the whole restaurant, It's small, seated at one time, but the service was still fast and delightful. We were in no rush. Would go again when traveling Rt 1.
