It was closed. Oiur evening was ruined. We had guests from out of town hoping to eat theere.
It's an unassuming tavern but don't let that fool you - the drinks and food are both excellent. We started with a tavern salad, which was nice and light. And thank goodness, because we had the chicken and short rib as our entrees, and those were both rich. All dishes were cooked perfectly, and prepared fully gluten free. Traveling with Celiac Disease can be stressful, but their staff was knowledgeable and made sure I felt comfortable. We definitely recommend this stop if you're staying in the area, or just passing through.

We will skip the unremarkable Caesar salad. Our server was friendly but not attentive. The table near the end of the bar was drafty. Otherwise, the rest of our meals and drinks were good, we will be back because we enjoy the overall ambience.
Sweet little tavern in Olema. We had oysters, smoked salmon croquettes, poached eggs, and the best New York steak! The waitress was delightful. Don’t miss it.

Well the reviews of the fish and chips fell well well well short of reality. As a British person with over 3 million US fish and chip review views on Google I would say this was the absolute worst in the US so far. Under seasoned slimy undercooked oily batter with minimal fish lead to an extremely disappointing visit tonight. $165 for 4 people, understaffed, stressed service was at best an embarrassment. The chips tasted frozen and single fried. We was on a 3 night stay, and planned to go to the resteraunt every night, but this will not be happening. Paid the staff a very good cash tip as it certainly wasn't their fault. I would disappointingly say avoid at all costs, I feel ill after eating, it was that oily.

We experienced what appeared to be racial discrimination. Despite arriving first and being told to wait for table cleaning, two white customers who came in after us were immediately seated at the only remaining table.
We had to leave.

The burger is worth the drive! Served with hot, crispy fries, the burger is properly cooked to order, seasoned perfectly and served on a warm brioche bun. The tavern is cozy and sitting up at the bar with bartender Joe is always a delight. Due West is a gem, perfectly situated in beautiful Olema.
The team at this restaurant is wonderful. All of the folks who work here are tuned into making the customer feel comfortable and well taken care of. Greer was our server and if there were awards for best server she would win the award. Although the other servers , Willow and Andrea, would also win awards. The food was good. The drinks were good. The ambience is inviting and relaxed.
This is the best place anywhere near the point Ray’s national Park. They have a nightly special which includes wine, dessert and the whole thing for super reasonable price. It’s not the price. It’s the quality of the food. My foodie friends come all the way from San Francisco just to come and eat here because of the lovely food. I had my Thanksgiving dinner here and I’ll give you a picture down below. Great place and great servers also.

Went for Thanksgiving as we had really enjoyed it last year. The turkey was dry and no amount of gravy could save it. The same was also dry. The Brussel sprouts were under cooked. The $9 rolls were store bought and a complete miss. I have no idea what happened this year. Our server looked exhausted. He is usually the bartender and I guess he somehow got recruited to take tables. We felt sorry for him. It was $250 for the three of us and a bust.
Each night of the week there is a fixed price special that includes salad, main course and a glass of very good house wine (red or white). I had the chicken picatta and it was very good. Service was excellent and friendly. Menu in general is somewhat limited but choices sounded quite good.

Food just ok, oysters very good.
We were staying around the corner and were delighted to find this gem within walking distance. Great drinks and food at prices that were not unreasonable considering it's the California coast, and the friendly service (including a dog-friendly patio) were a great way to end the day after our long drive here.

Classy place compared to local barnacle businesses. Good oysters, fish and chips was spectacular. The fried brussel sprouts were out of this world. Server wrote down a list of local activities to enjoy.
