Had a good experience in here with my daughter. The food arrived quickly and the customer service is just awesome. Prices are reasonable.

We went here in 2019 and loved the food, the burger was excellent. We drove here this weekend 3 hours to have our favorite burger and beforehand google said opens at 11:30am and that’s when it all went wrong. We arrived at noon and it said on the door, closed until further notice. We even went to their website beforehand to view the menu. Their website had no indication of closure. Nothing on google or their website indicated they were not open. I know it’s COVID-19 but you need to let people know your status so they don’t drive hours to see you just to turn around and go home. We loved this place but very disappointed in their poor communication to the public. Not sure we’ll ever risk driving back again.

Disappointing dinner. $80.00 for a burger, a grilled cheese sandwich and Cabernet that was so bad we corked it and left it on the table. The best things about this spot was our server (she was working the register and entire front of house alone), the interior decor and the IKEA sheepskin covers on the seats. Maybe they were off tonight? Maybe it's losing $? Maybe having a way to make reservations online or someone to pick up a phone call would help?

Marin Sun farms has exceptional hamburgers, steaks, pork chops, lamb and to die for beef tallow fries. Also available are salads, small plates and pasta. Sorry no gluten free hamburger buns. This is are a small restaurant seating is limited and we do not take reservations for parties under 6 so plan accordingly. Please remember that good food takes time so relax with one of our beautiful local wines and savor the best meat youll ever get to nosh on.

This is our FAVORITE place in the area, hands down. Looking for a perfect Saturday activity? Try going out to Bear Valley Visitor's center for a hike in the morning, and then to Marin Sun Farms for a burger at lunch. I have celiac disease and the server and chef are always so thoughtful and diligent about making my meal gluten free. My favorite is the burger (no bun) and french fries - they now have a separate fryer that's dedicated for gluten free.

What a gem. After a long day of hiking the coast we couldn't have asked for a better meal. First of all, Marin Sun Farm's meats are all top tier, being fully pasture raised, which is very difficult to find at a restaurant. After putting so much care into raising the meat, they put equal care into crafting a delightfully robust menu that showcases the flavors of their products perfectly. The special of the day was a duck pate with pistachio and dried cherries which was paired with a variety of pickled vegetables and a coarse mustard. When we were done cleaning that plate, we were then treated to their classic burger (which was a perfect medium), juicy and flavorful, with their wonderful seasoned fries. The star had to be the slow braised lamb shank though, completely falling off the bone, with a stock reduction, potato puree, and roasted carrots. Definitely an "elevated" classic, I haven't had better lamb at a restaurant. The ambiance of the building itself was inviting and warm. Heavy wood tables, chairs covered in lamb skins, with the meat being showcased at the butcher counter while 40's diner music played softly in the background. Our server Steven was pleasant, attentive, and informative. He had great recommendations for dessert and genuinely believed in the cause of the restaurant, which was great because we do as well. A lot of restaurants throw around the phrase "Farm to Table"; Marin Sun Farms does it for real. If you are in Point Reyes Station do not miss the opportunity to dine here.

What a great dining experience! This is my new favorite restaurant in Marin County. Great service, highest quality food, and just all around a wonderful place to shop and dine. After eating a disappointing meal at a nearby restaurant, my fiancé and I decided to stop in and buy some meat from the butcher shop to cook at home. One look at their menu and seeing those inviting chairs covered in cozy sheep skin changed our minds. We decided instead to stay and have a redemption dinner. I am so glad we did! It was the BEST meal I have had in a long time. We ordered the duck pâté with pistachios and cherries which came with an assortment of pickled vegetables and toast. It was delicious, and so beautifully presented. My fiancé ordered the slow braised lamb, and I had the grass fed bacon cheeseburger and fries. The lamb was out of this world! Falling off the bone tender with the richest sauce reduction... Even though this was dinner number two, my burger (which was perfectly cooked to medium) hit the spot. The fries were cooked to a nice crisp on the outside yet soft and moist on the inside. (Tip: their ketchup is really good, but if you ask for their house made aioli, it'll take your fries to the next level.) Our server Steven was super personable, and had a great sense of humor. He helped me decide on dessert, and I'm really glad I took his advice! I don't know if I would have ordered Candy Cap Mushroom flavored water buffalo gelato, but Steven insisted it tasted like maple syrup and was really good. He also recommended the pistachio gelato, so I got a scoop of each. I could have eaten that gelato 10 times over. It was some of the best I have ever had! Knowing how hard it can be to work in the restaurant business, we were happy to pay the 20% gratuity that is included when dining in. It was well deserved, as we enjoyed our interactions with both the chef and our food server. It was overall a really enjoyable experience and I cannot wait to go back!

I really wanted to like this place. I saw it on Check Please and it looked great. Unfortunately, the service was terrible and food was just ok. We ordered drinks which one came in 30 minutes ( after our food was served ) and the other was wrong. The food was ok but a bit overpriced. The final piece was the service charge which was over 20%. Kinda ridiculous. It was a long drive and not worth it.

DON'T EAT HERE! I should have read the latest reviews instead of just looking at the rating. 1. Burger was very salty as well as too much black pepper, I could not ever finish it. 2. Fries were few days old, seemed like they just reheated them. 3. They charge 20% tip automatically! Which is completely ridiculous. The place was empty...

I had dinner here (& lunch the next day) and the food was amazing! The lamb for dinner was soo good as well as the sauce and parsnip puree. The roast beef sandwich was amazing too. Staff was super friendly and the place is very nice- but not formal. Will be back!
