Walked in after 25000 steps hiking in pt reyes national seashore to listen to the live music and enjoy a bear. We sat at the bar and waited for 20 min and the 2 bartenders never looked at us or said “can i help you” after another 10 min i tried to get their attention and they avoided me. At one point i knocked on the bar and the older one looked at me and said hello and then turned around and left. My friend and i got up and left. Not a pleasant way to finish a great daygood

Fits up to its name in this no frills bar with reasonable pricing. Come hang with the locals. Gran a beverage, a bite or live music and just relax and take in the surrounds.

I'm here around 5 X per year with Lagunitas Brewing Company. I'm their driver for outings and events and everyone seems to have a really good time here.

Stop in for a cold beverage and check out the old cash registers and photos. They have live entertainment on the weekends.

Service was good, but they charged us $20 for two beers. Grossly overpriced

Probably better than my 3 stars suggests, because the odds of finding a good time to visit are maybe 50/50, they're also very well aligned with what common sense would dictate. What I mean is, go to see live music on a Friday or Saturday, or have an after-brunch early one afternoon of a nice weekend and you'll very likely want to take photos of everyone smiling together before you have to leave.Go almost any other time and you will more likely find- ? ...actually ? no. Just no.?Do NOT "go almost any other time..."!Go on a Fri/Saturday Night for fun with friends, or Sat/Sunday Afternoon for fun with family. These bedrock fundamental Rules are as Old as Time.. Or Weekends. I have to imagine that rules regarding bars and weekends aren't probably any older than are the Weekends themselves, and OH! NOPE! I LOOKED IT U- excuse me, I'm sorry about the yelling. So,I looked it up and you don't want anything to do with the what folks were generally up to in the days before weekends!Simon's right. ThePastWasTheWorstWait, what was this review about?

Beer was good and cold. Guy who served us wasn't very friendly but it didn't bother me. Well I guess it did a little or else I wouldn't have mentioned it in this review. Oh well
