My spouse and I tried half chicken with salsa verde as well as Heirloom Bean “Cassoulet”. Both were delicious and there was excellent value as the portion size was big and the flavours were fantastic.

First of all I've been here before and the food is pretty good although of course it's not cheap. I had the pork belly eggs Benedict and it was very tasty. My friends rotisserie chicken was decent, but not as juicy and moist as you would think rotisserie chicken would be it, obviously had been pre-cooked and maybe reheated, whatever I was eating my dish I asked the waitress for a few slices of onion, thinking no big deal I've asked for that in other restaurants and of course they bring it out. It's a small amount. She has the nerve to come over with a device to charge me $1.68 for a few slices of onion.!! I mean are you kidding me they're actually gonna try and hit me for $1.68 for a couple pieces of onion that's absurd and I was shocked.she mentioned something about the labor involved and I was like yeah OK that takes a lot to cut up a little bit onion ,please.anyway I paid it, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. The staff seemed kind of uninterested and lackadaisical , like they'd rather be somewhere else but in past visits The staff was very warm and friendly...... probably won't go back.

I stopped at this place because it was along the way to San Francisco from the beach I visited. I have to say the atmosphere and staff are great, friendly and welcoming. The menu could have more selection on it. However, from what I have ordered to go I can say the following. Rotisserie tri tip sandwich in my humble opinion could have had more meat on it. Also, the beef was chewy and not juicy how you would expect. I gave that sandwich three stars for flavor and composition. Side was potatoes and they were done as you would expect but had nothing extra that would make them stand out. The second sandwich I ordered to go was Pork blt. This sandwich had more flavor and the meat was juicy. However, the goat cheese on it in my opinion ruined the flavor because it is so overwhelming. The side was mac and cheese and it was as you would expect also nothing to stand out. Furthermore, I wish they would give more pickles with each sandwich because three tiny slices just dont cut it. Overall, food could be much better for the price and also being that this place is in prime spot passed by all the tourists. I expected more I guess. Staff made it somewhat better with their smiles and positive vibes.

Stopped here on a bike packing trip to get a little work done on my computer. Loved the potatoes and tea varieties! Super kind service from their whole staff. One of the few good work spots I could find on a Wednesday morning in town, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

I have been eating at this unique establishment, since it was The Pine Cone Cafe. One cold blustery afternoon there, I was sitting at the counter and the cook served me up a bowl of veggie bean chili, it was a unique assortment of different beans. I've never had a Chili like that before. I really missed it when they closed. :( Lucky for me when Side Street took over they created a new better version of that dish. They even kept the original counter! The new version is their Heirloom bean Cassoulet with fried tofu on the top, paired with a drizzle of Chimichurri rojo sauce. So many yummy and healthy choices on the menu! Then throw in their amazing staff, the natural splendor of Point Reyes and you will be experiencing a little slice of heaven! We eat there a least once a month, it's a short trip from Mill Valley. It's where we go to decompress and visit with the sweet staff at the Side Street KItchen.

The place looks unassuming but don't let looks deceive you! The food here was delicious. Highly recommend, they also had numerous vegetarian options. The Brussel sprouts were delicious as was the Mac and cheese.

What a delightful surprise! Expected this to be another over-blown healthy, hippy locale, but it was a great meal. My wife and I each had the roast half-chicken, mine with the salsa verde and hers with the salsa roja. Both sauces were excellent and the chicken was roasted perfectly. We had the Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese as sides. All in all an excellent meal! And the service was fast and super friendly. This place is a must-visit in the area.
