Solid restaurant in the heart of point Reyes. One of the closest spots to the lighthouse with oysters and fish and chips. The clam chowder was chock full of clams but slightly thin for my taste. Still good but not hearty. The bread rolls with maple butter were dense kinda biscuit like but good. The salmon croquettes were delish and perfectly balanced with fresh apples and tartar sauce. Kids chicken strips with fries was very generous. Beer battered fish n chips was crispy light...
The mussels here are amazing and absolutely worth getting. Make sure you get an order of garlic bread too though, because the two little toasts that come with it aren't nearly enough to sop up the delicious broth.
We also got popovers, which were pretty good, and the chard, which would have been better if destemmed so that the stems could be thrown in the pan first to get the extra cooking time they need, and cooked with garlic to give them more flavor.

If you’re looking for a place to eat in Point Reyes, look no further! We spent the weekend on the coast and ended up eating here all three nights because we enjoyed it so much! The Mary’s chicken was to die for, there was a special of braised beef that was so delicious and cozy, and the pork chop was so tender and tasty! We’re planning on coming back next time we’re in the area!
