It's good but I don't really get the hype. If you're going for this kind of frozen yogurt, yeah it's better than Golden Spoon but of all the other ice cream/frozen yogurt alternatives out there- this is not thaaat great. Little bit pricey too? I've only been once. Don't attack me. It's just not my cup of tea.

I am in major trouble, because the new 21 is about to open within walking distance from me. Let's all just accept it - frozen yogurt is NOT low-cal/low-fat/healthy when you add in the cookies and candies and sauces. But it is just so yummy. And the samples make walking in the door just so pleasant (poll - how many can you ask for without seeming piggish?). The people working there are always so nice. I know if I worked there I'd want to hurt somebody. Hopefully the new one will have some decent seating. What's the mixing machine about?

Though I've been inside the 21 Choices in Pasadena prior to going to the one in Claremont, I have not ordered anything. I didn't know what to choose or what would go good with what because the menus all looked packed and overwhelming. But i was able to decide... and like Coldstone (except this was frozen yogurt), I didn't like how it got all gooey. I don't like liquid, melting textures for smoothies, ice cream, frozen yogurt... so I usually eat those things before they tend to melt. Anyways, the service was okay. It's very loud inside so they're like yelling at you when taking your order. I wasn't that impressed with the final outcome of my yogurt. I don't know if I'll even order something from there again. Guess I like Pinkberry and Yogurtland the best. BTW, the place is tiny... so the place truly does get packed during the night. You'll see a line going out the door. Most of their customers are locals who have been going there for years.

no no no, you are all nuts. walk your a** down there and get the cream cheese mixed into the tart ice cream, make them put it through the machine (not on the table people) THEN have them put some brownies on the top. If you still rank it 2 stars you are full of it.

I used to love this place. I went here on a weekly basis, if not more, and enjoyed the great flavors of yogurt they make daily on site. However, I recommend going elsewhere. Their employees that they have working there now are no where near as sweet and genuine as they once were, and are often borderline rude. My major complaint, and why I only give this place 2 stars now instead of the 5 I would've given them before, is the awful price hikes they've been instituting. $3 for an itty bitty yogurt? Dude, you can buy a decent sized Starbucks drink for that. Skip it and go somewhere else.

WHYYYY is everybody hatin' on 21 choices?! This is a top choice for off-campus dessert for Claremont College students; there will also be another location in the Claremont Village Expansion in a month or two (kind of silly to have 2 locations that close together if you ask me, but hey, now we have EIGHT flavors to pick from every day!) You can look at their flavors for the day on 21choices.com, although sometimes they don't update the page as early as they should. There is always French Vanilla and Dutch Chocolate (or something very similar) and 4 rotating flavors. Also, 4 days of the week there is a "low-carb" flavor (meaning that they just use Splenda to sweeten it instead of sugar along w/ fruit, 'no sugar added' chocolate chips, etc.). True, it may not be the most amazing dessert you ever put in your mouth, but I hold a special place in my heart for 21 choices. No matter how long the line is at night, the staff is always helpful and cheery. Plus, you know how at some ice cream places you feel bad for sampling more than 1 flavor? Well, my friends and I ALWAYS sample all 4 of the rotating flavors and have never been looked at twice - AND they don't skimp on their sample portions! I rarely get an add-in because of the additional charge, but the flavors are usually good enough by themselves and don't need anything extra. Prices are college student-friendly (good-sized 'small' = 2.50), AND they use biodegradable cups! One of the few cons of 21 choices is that if you go really late at night to avoid the crowds, they might be out of 1 or more of the flavors.

They have the same flavors as the one in Pasadena but the service isn't as good. They don't chop the add ins as great. Plus they are sloppier. But still pretty good flavors.

I only go here if the flavors are ok for the day...other than that the service isn't that great...they need to bring some of their people from Pasadena in and show them how it's done!

Ok so this place is no longer called 21 Choices, it's now called Silver Spoons. 21 Choices moved to 817 West Foothill Blvd., Claremont, on the corner of Mountain and Foothill. I don't live in the area so my mom and I stopped here thinking it was still the 21 Choices we had enjoyed a few years ago. We noticed the name change but decided to give it a try anyway. The guy working there was such a l***** He was sitting on one of the couches hanging out with his girlfriend when we walked in. He seemed annoyed that he had to help customers. Anyway, he didn't greet us or anything, just stared at us as we tried to find the flavor menu. Very unfriendly :( All they had was chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, pistachio, and cappuccino. I ordered a small chocolate and my mom ordered a small cappuccino. I guess they were out of the cappuccino because instead of apologizing or whatever, he just says "no more cappucinco". Ok.. whatever. Didn't offer us any toppings or anything. We paid and didn't get a thank you. Nothing. He was just a j*** who you could tell hated working there. We went to sit down to eat and 2 more customers came in. He was rude to them too. He was texting away on his cell phone while they were ordering. The yogurt wasn't anything special. I wouldn't return. I hope the owner reads this and knows what a bad impression that guy left on us. If you hate your job so much, quit already!

21 Choices is great. They have vanilla and chocolate frozen yogurt with way more than 21 options for mix-ins. The strawberries with cookie dough is vanilla yogurt is awesome. They also have 5 different flavors of frozen yogurt every day that they make. The portions are huge and the prices are just right for poor college students.
