Me and my boyfriend decided to try a new place for dinner today and honestly they did not disappoint. We tried the Dragon sushi roll, shrimp tempura appetizer, and the Chicken & Shrimp teriyaki. Everything was great!!

A small hole in the wall kind of place with great customer service, so friendly and geeat atmosphere! The food is amazing and I love the sauce that came with the shrimp tempora, called yummy sauce! I'll be visiting again soon!! Totally recommend it.

My wife and I are big fans of teriyaki and love exploring different teriyaki restaurants whenever we can. Thatās why we were excited to try Akai Teriyaki, a newly opened spot in town.
The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, with limited seating, but itās clean and welcoming. The customer service was decentānothing over the top, but the staff was friendly enough to make the experience pleasant.
When it came to the food, however, it didnāt quite meet our expectations. š± The teriyaki lacked the bold, flavorful punch weāve experienced at other local Japanese and teriyaki restaurants. The portion size was fair, and the price point was reasonable, but the taste just wasnāt memorable enough for us. Since weāve tried other places that offer much better quality and flavor, this one didnāt stand out as a spot weād return to.
I think Akai Teriyaki has potential as theyāre still new, and perhaps the menu will improve over time. But as of now, itās not somewhere Iād consider one of the best teriyaki spots near me.
