Came to Carl’s Jr. and had a terrible experience from the start. Customer service was rude, especially from an employee named Sonia. She said there were no burgers because the grill “wasn’t on,” even though I was ordering a breakfast burger. Then when our food came, we said it was for here, and she literally threw the bag on the counter. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. If you don’t like your job, don’t take it out on customers. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I recently visited Carl’s Jr at the Rio Rancho Road location on 9/12/2025 at approximately 2150. I waited in the drive-through line for nearly an hour and spent around $40 on my order. Upon reaching the window, I received food that was ice cold.

When I brought this to the attention of the drive-through worker, an employee named Ismael came to the window and was extremely argumentative. He spoke over me, preventing me from explaining the issue, and was gesturing rudely with his hands. When I asked for the manager's name and corporate's number, Ismael refused to provide them, continued to interrupt me, and was generally disrespectful.

He stated that he couldn't issue a refund, that the restaurant's policy had changed so only managers could issue refunds, and that there was no manager on duty. He then told me that if I didn't want the food, I could simply throw it away.

This was an unacceptable experience. The long wait time, the cold food, and Ismael's rude and unhelpful behavior reflect poorly on this establishment. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure that other customers do not have a similar experience. I would appreciate it if someone from corporate could contact me regarding this matter.

We went through the drive thru today (June 19, 2025) at about 6:40pm. The girl Tyler working in the drive thru has no sense of customer service skills nor does she have any business working in a drive thru. She handed us our stuff and walked away even though she knew we clearly needed something from her since we were sitting there…I even was honking my horn after she walked away with the window cracked and she wouldn’t come back to the window. Then we realize she gave us the wrong food after repeating what we wanted multiple times. We attempted to call the store a few times and she just says she can’t hear you or she says you sound like a robot even though you can hear her perfectly fine! This isn’t the first time I’ve come across her here and every single time she seems miserable. We ended up coming back tonight at 9:10pm and the gentlemen helping us tonight is the definition of someone who has great customer service skills and is someone I hope to see again when I come through this drive thru, he gave us the right food and apologized multiple times (even though he wasn’t the one who gave us an attitude and the wrong food)! As for Tyler I hope someone either retrains her, pulls her from the drive thru window or fires her in general. She seems to take her job as a joke and obviously doesn’t know how to treat paying customers.

Wonderfully located off the Corona 71 FRWY in Beautiful 🌻 Pomona / Phillips Ranch area. Stoped in just for a Milk Shake but I must admit it was extremely clean as well as the restroom 🚻 and they're Customer Service was definitely On Point ☝️ !
