This was really high quality delicious food. I had the Colorado Chuck Steak with poblano rice. Large chunks of fork tender beef in a rich red sauce. Yum. I also cannot say enough about the service I received from our waitperson Jonathan. Polite, attentive and a real pro.

A very nice refreshing culinary adventure. A little bit of Columbian, Mexican, Italian and American vibe. A little bit for everyone. Loved the fish and chips and the guacamole and chips appetizer. Definitely try an aguas fresca and the delicious Abuelitas butter cake. Will definetly go back to try other foods. Service was great. All servers were masked and very attentive. Tables were spaced for privacy. Atmosphere of the restaurant is very calming and welcoming. They do have several TV's for sports or movie watching. Great place to plan a catered event or just to stop by for a good meal.

We ordered the ceviche and guacamole as our appetizer to start. I was not disappointed! The flavor the ceviche had was amazing. We ordered the 909 and the Dana’s special. My compliments to the chef. Everything was cooked right on point and it taste delicious. Our server was great, she was Very attentive. And the owner also very attentive. I would give more than 5 stars ⭐️ if I could. We will definitely eat here again. This restaurant has made it to my top 5 ?

I was waiting for my Mom shopping at the Vietnamese market. Noticed a new restaurant where the old Chinese buffet used to be and decided to wait there. I met Dave the owner and instantly became friends. The Vietnamese ice coffee I ordered was great. The food he was serving to other customers looked fantastic.I have to compliment the decor. My family and I ate at this location for years when it was other types of restaurants. In the past, the place was not very spectacular. In fact, the Chinese buffet was a bit tacky. Dave has done a wonderful job at making the place look like a million bucks. Very comfortable environment to dine or just hang out while Mom is shopping.Dave shown me some of his dishes and they look spectacular. Anyone can cook food and throwing it on a plate. Taking time to make presentation brings that extra quality to a food establishment.I completely recommend Dana Gourmet Cafe and look forward to dining there the next time I'm in Pomona.

In Pomona on Holt just east of Clark Street the moment you walk through the doors you feel like your in a restaurant from downtown LA. The service is wonderful and Jonathon was so attentive you don't have to ask for a thing, they are Right there for you!!! We got the turkey club sandwich with fries and it just melts in your mouth!!! Bring your appetite or definitely split this meal!!! 5 stars all the way!!!

In August, 1970 LA Times reviewer Robert Hilburn hailed a brash newcomer from England "one of rock's biggest and most important stars." The forecast was spot on- Half a century, 300 million albums and 65+ Top 40 hit songs later, Sir Elton John is arguably the most successful singer songwriter in music history.Yelpers can now SHARE that amazing feeling of artisanal revelation: Sprint, don't walk, to DANA GOURMET CAFE!DGC was launched two months ago by four friends, each possessing twenty or more years of experience in the restaurant industry. In fact, the restaurant name is an acronym of their four names. From moment one, we were greeted by co-owner David, who graciously seated us and even checked in with us throughout our meal. Talk about splendid service!!We started w/ an appetizer of chicken wings, which despite my admonitions to "lemme get the shot for my Yelpers!" the platter was DESTROYED within moments....before I could get the close up!The wings are glazed with a shellac of tangy Asian heat, cooled w/ the obligatory dipping bowl of Ranch and given crunchy, textured counterpoint by the accompanying slaw, where matchsticks of cabbage and carrot cavort with Fresno chiles in a feisty but not too rude peanut sauce. Judging from the sight of my son the future Pastor tryna scoop up the remaining globules of sauce from the plate with his FORK: A a bona fide "A+" grade.Next up? My side salad, which as you can tell from its close up, is as pretty as anything you'll find on the Food Network. Shredded kale and romaine lettuce are doused in a delightful lime vinaigrette vie with the slivered tortilla chips for a wonderful little merengue in your mouth. My bride and I agree- Another "A+"Then my son's sandos came out. A "909 Fried Chicken" on kaiser roll that Bradley eviscerated in record time and Brandon's Philly Cheesesteak, which I can attest is worthy of wearing its PHILLY moniker. Any Philadelphian will tell you that Pat's and Geno's are the two landmark houses of cheesesteak worship in town.I've had both, and the DGF take is as Philly authentic as the Liberty Bell, Benjamin Franklin or Rocky Balboa. Chalk up another two "A's" on Dana's ledger! My girls contenplated ordering different dishes, giggled, then both decided to order the Salmon de Amande, which wins the award for "Miss Photogenic."WHAT a visually pleasing, stone cold stunner of a dish!!! Imagine six ounces of exquisite salmon, perfectly grilled to iridescent orange, cradled on stalks of grilled root vegetables then drenched in the yummiest, most mouth watering sauce we had all night, DGF's ode to Romescu. The sauce is an interplay of roasted red pepper, sun dried tomatoes, smoked paprika, garlic and minced almonds. It's finger (and toe) licking good- so good you'll briefly consider shredding your shoes so you can immerse more digits into this BOSS of Sauces!!! You know the drill- another "A."Finally, my I.E. Pork Chop, which comes with mashed potatoes and the obligatory grilled shards of onion, peppers and carrots. DGC presents its chop grilled medium well in a semi-spicy Asian glaze reminiscent of the wings sauce. While I also devoured everything on my plate, I do have some constructive comments for the chef: My chop arrived just shy of well done and, although the Fortune 500 exec in me can appreciate liability (read: "No food poisoning") it was tougher than my lumberjack brother's Red Wing work boots! I'd suggest experimenting with a Dijon-Lemon glaze with Capers for the chop and dress up the mashed potatoes with a jolt of horseradish or minced garlic. A+ plating catapults this entree's grade to a "B+"Fearing a reprisal of our "Gone in Sixty Seconds" appetizer, we ordered two desserts: Capirotada (aka Mexican bread pudding) and Abuelita's Butter Cake. Both are praiseworthy finishes.I may not be the Robert Hilburn of Yelpers (not quite!) but DGF warrants your business. Co

I read reviews on Yelp and Google as well, all were 4-5 stars except for 1 guy. Well my husband and I were very pleased with our dining experience. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, which is refreshing, because customer service is really important to me. It speaks myriads about the place! We also chatted with one of the owners, David and his wife, who's name I regret not getting. Really great people who are brining back classy, great food to the people of the IE. I'd give them 6 stars if it was permitted!!We're going to be return customers for sure!!
