Super delicious chicken and waffles. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. The waffles were totally fresh and fluffy and came with enough butter and syrup. The potatoes were awesome and the eggs are done right. Service was great. Prices were really reasonable for the huge plates of food we got. Really excited to come back here in the future, really enjoyed this meal.

If "never judge a book by its cover" was a place that sold chicken and waffles, this would be it. Execution is disarmingly excellent.You know the feeling you get when something is not only as good as you expected, but surprisingly, even better? If you like that feeling as much as I do, this place should be on your agenda. I am admittedly snobbish judging collard greens, but theirs are 100% certified.

This little spot was amazing to be honest! it wasn't expensive for what we got (real soul food & Cajun-Creole is hard to find in so cal) They have a good menu with a large selection, the food didnt take long at all either. me and my lady both loved our meals and neither could finish because how much food they gave.
Also the lady who took the order had some quality that could only be described as southern charm, such pleasant and happy energy is hard to find honestly.
I cant wait to go back, I wanted so many things on the menu, its a shame we only ordered 2 things. I took pictures of the smothered pork chops which i got, and the catfish and fried chicken plate with an extra waffle that my girl got. (Breakfast all day)

Stick with the entrée. Skip the dessert. Ordered the banana pudding and received three wafers atop Jello pudding mix! I didn't intend to pay $8 for three spoonfuls of that. If you have thoughts of homemade banana pudding like your mom or grandmother used to make then be forewarned that you won't find it here.

It’s in the heart of the stroll in Pomona so you’ll see your share of legs and thighs ;) when I travel to So Cal I always try and make a stop at Day Day’s and always get the blue Kool Aid. Also it’s better than Roscoe’s

The owner/manager was EXTREMELY RUDE to the employees working there. He spoke to them like they were less than human! When my husband spoke to him about it, he just dismissed what we said with a double sided apology. It was very uncomfortable and I will never visit that location ever again.
