I wish this place had a permanent location because the food here was so good that if I ever see the truck again I will drop everything I'm doing and I will sprint full speed at the truck even if I have to cut across 8 lanes of rush hour traffic on foot because that is worth it to even have a bite of the catfish sandwiches they have.

I stopped by DD’s at the Barbara Morrison 2nd annual Jazz & Blues festival, asked about their product & they delivered. The price was great, Catfish perfect and not like Shabazz with overly battered product to mask small portions and cooked so hard I threw it away. Plus only offering only 2 options $25 or $30 and no choice of what and they don’ t have Catfish at $25 .I will go to DD’s restaurant, love their product.

The food was BOMB. I got the chicken and fries and it was so good dipped in their secret sauce. I had to ask for another sauce to go as well since there was so much inside one box. Theyre also the sweetest family. Definitely going back for more!!

DD's Chick and Cat Shack was some of the best quality food I have had in LA. The chicken was super juicy and for a chicken tender it was mostly chicken. Sometimes you order fried food and it is mostly batter but that was not the case here. Their secret seasonings on the chicken were amazing as well. Their secret sauce and cajun fries are worth the price of admission alone. Would recommend that anyone try the food and continue to support a family owned small business.

Just stopped at DDs for dinner tonight. Talked to the man himself and he gave us the recommendation to try “The Kitchen Sink.” I must say it was a great recommendation. Everything was crispy even though we took it to go. Go check it out.
