The food wasn't that good for the price and since they changed management the chicken doesn't taste the same customer service was good I would never go back here I was born an raised out here so I had to old donahoos it was so delicious the prices was great to but the prices are to high now for the chicken not to be that good but God bless donahoos tho much respect

Donahoos has been a favorite since I was a little boy.My Mom bought it for the family occasionally as a treat. The food is usually hot, fresh and delicious. There have been occasions when the chicken was a little stale and on the cold side but not often. Most of the time everything is great! The staff is helpful, friendly and professional. The chicken portions are big, the rolls are good and they offer a good variety of sides. I strongly recommend anyone that hasn't tried it before give it a shot.

This spot is everything you want in classic fried chicken. The chicken is thick and not overly coated or salty like some places. I liked their chicken strips, which weren't oily at all. The rolls deserve their own shoutout. Seriously, I prefer these buns over any other chicken spot. I also tried the Thai tea and mashed potatoes with gravy, both of which were great as well.
They have an open kitchen, so you can watch all the action as your food comes together. That's always a good sign, as you can literally see the care they have in prepping the food.
They don’t take phone orders, but it’s really not an issue. Service is super quick, parking is easy, and even when there’s a line, it moves fast.

A trip down memory lane. I went to Cal Poly Pomona and this was always the place my friends and I would come too. I happened to be in the area and I was like why not. Pick up some chicken and it tasted just like how I remembered it. It’s good to see that nothing’s changed here.

The food was so good! The chicken strips were seasoned to perfection and cooked to a perfect golden crisp. Also to get a whole meal for less than $12 that I can eat off of for two days is a win! Will definitely be going back to try the fried chicken.

We arrived a few minutes after our pickup designated time and our order was not ready for pickup. It was explained that they don't start packing the order until you arrive. I didn't know that, so I was somewhat anxious because we needed to get to El Monte to catch our bus to the Hollywood Bowl by 6pm. Thank God we made with 10 minutes to spare. I had not been to the Pomona location in a long time, because the flavor of the chicken had changed. Because we were going to El Monte, we didn't have time to go to Ontario. I was happy when we begin our meal to taste that the flavor was back! Even the leftover next day tenders were flavorful.

The last couple of times I came here the chicken strip was not fried all the way to where I had to throw some of it away. Very disappointing considering how good the chicken can be. They need to stop rushing and or being lazy and give the food time to cook... DISAPPOINTING
