I recently visited El Jefe in Pomona for a birthday celebration with a large group, and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The service was lacking, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. To top it off, the drinks were watered down. Overall, the experience didn’t meet our expectations, and I hope they can improve in the future.

Came here on a Saturday for Latin dancing with friends from dance class. One room played salsa and bachata and the main room had a live band and dj playing cumbias. There was also a big dance floor outside next to the big pretty tree. Great music and good vibes all around, lots of people were dancing but you still had room to actually dance.
The staff was really kind to us, they saw we came in a group and offered us a big table, even though it said reserved. They were very welcoming.

The food could be better and things here are not clean or taken care of here. The booths had cracks and tears and everything was sticky. Cars were also getting towed from the parking lot. The tow people were taking pictures of stuff inside the cars and of the plates of cars that they were not towing. The parking attendant seemed to be very friendly with them. I would think twice before parking here. It seemed very shady. I wouldn't come back here. I feel sorry for anyone who came for a fun night here and came out to there car being gone.

Food wasn't great. Enchiladas 👎 chilaquiles 👎. Ceviche had more veggies than shrimp.
No plans on coming back.

The place was nasty! The menus are paper that are filthy, to top it off they are not fully legible due to them being pixelated/blurry. The booth we were seated in was torn and very dirty. The table was dirty and sticky. Even the receipt sleeve was sticky and dirty.
The service was horrible!! Asked for the basics, napkins and a glass of water. Didn’t bring any to the table. I had to get up and get our own from the bar.
The food was mediocre at best. The guacamole had no flavor. The beans and rice had to have been days old and just reheated. The molcajete was not good at all. The onions, jalapeño, and nopal were all overcooked and dry.

Went on Sunday for the brunch buffet. Starts at 11am to 3pm. Unlimited mimosas until 2pm.
Food tasted okay, a little on the salty side.
Inside the establishment was pretty warm. Certain parts of the restaurant do get warmer than others. There is outside seating under a huge tree.
Staff was friendly. Overall was okay.
$45.99 per adult and $19.99 for kids.
